A list of puns related to "Cherubs"
My friend and I are making the cherub campus in MC. We want to include as much detail as possible so it would be useful if you could give us any details you remember about it. I've included some screenshots of what we have so fair (the mail building). I hope you guys like it and can think of any good things to include about the campus in general. Thanks! (the person i am building with is DestroJet).

If you saw my post about this before, I deleted it and created this one because I felt like I missed some things out.
An ever occurring hot topic on here is always when will the books be adapted in the form of a film or TV series but through this post I would like to discuss the logistics that have probably been discussed in board rooms and planning meetings over the years.
I would like to point out that the rights to take CHERUB to the big screen are owned by Komixx Entertainment. They actually have a history of converting novels into live action pictures with 2018's The Kissing Booth. The book was written in 2012 and the sequel to the book is pretty much based entirely off the second movie which was in production as the author penned book 2.
Promising stuff as it seems we are in good hands here...
I know I would love and appreciate any adaptation of CHERUB but the truth is, I have my fears.
A big talking point for me should be when the adaptation is set. As we know the books are set, mostly in 2000's, and for me this works perfectly. There is just the right amount of technology to make the world feel so grounded and realistic. The principle that CHERUB is always just one step ahead of the curve when it comes to tech makes perfect sense and social media didn't have such a massive impact on us as a society back then either.
It is almost a certainty that a new adaption will be set in the present day because...
Muchamore has said this in an interview before
Yes having it in the noughties would appeal to us hardcore fans but it would really struggle to pull in a younger demographic. Some maybe weren't even born and these books shine because of how relatable the characters are with some of the situations they find themselves in. This new demographic can't relate to the music James listens to or the clothes he wears and you can bet your house on the fact they won't be supporting Arsenal because he does! (no character could make any child these days)
One thing I have heard of before but haven't actually bothered to watch or research is a series called Sex Education which I am sure some of you may have watched. I could be wrong but I believe the setting was present but with the fashion and music didn't match the tech.
I could see something along the lines of that working but it would be ultimately pointless as again, it wouldn't resonate with the intended demographic.
One thing I love about the series is the realism. The way RM captures British culture is so spot on by using annoying customers, extreme sarcasm and relatable dilemmas to build a grounded w
... keep reading on reddit β‘Basically I got surprised last week with βby the way guys, youβre doing your exam next week lolβ, so after loaning an op amp muff for free off my teacher, readjusting and refitting my red, blue and silver laces in my Mexican little maple neck strat, after many sleepless nights playing the solo in the kitchen unplugged with a sister crying upstairs, I did it guys.
And I fucking nailed it.
My teacher was just sat there staring with her jaw dropped, I was sat there in tears with a snapped pick and a shitty school practice amp squealing at me with feedback, they clapped and said I wouldnβt need to record it. I listen back to it over the backing track (they record it via logic) and just, wow. The first time Iβve ever got the timing right, for the end chord, I even nailed the solo.
I had no idea what to do with this info, but to spit it out on here because Iβm just so proud of myself. Please, always stick to an instrument when you pick it up. I taught myself guitar 2 years ago because I felt pissed off air guitaring to βzeroβ so I pushed myself, now I learn songs by watching people play with 0 theory. NEVER GIVE UP!
Iβm so excited now, all I can thank is the band and guitar hero backing tracks, just wow.
Never give up!
Like I donβt see how they couldβve been defeated

This is a weird link I came across. It seems to be some sort of archive of an old eBay listing.
On eBay itself the seller had a listing here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185141543694
Whatβs interesting is that it seems to look like one of the six remaining lost Faberge Imperial Easter eggs, and the seller seems to have tried to hint that it might be the original:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherub_with_Chariot_(FabergΓ©_egg)
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/FabergΓ©_egg
Is this some elaborate hoax to make $50,000? I doubt itβs the original egg because it looks sort of cheaply made, and surely the experts would have noticed this listing, or the person listing it would have approached the experts if they thought they had the original (since clearly they are aware of the connection).
But if itβs even βafterβ Faberge, as the title of the listing suggestsβ¦that would seem significant given that the eggβs appearance is otherwise known only from a blurry reflection in a single old photograph of the imperial egg cabinet, which the appearance of this one matches quite well.
What do you think? Could this be a copy made while the egg was still extant? It seems like a βvintageβ item. It seems like it would take quite a bit of artistic skill and resources to create this even as a copy or reconstruction.
Or is it someoneβs attempt to reconstruct the egg based merely on the blurry reflection photos and descriptions? Though, it is only since the year 2000 has the reflection in the photo been identified or have people tried to render images based on it:
https://www.wintraecken.nl/mieks/faberge/eggs/1888_Cherub_with_chariot_egg.htm
(But if copies or attempts to re-create like this existβ¦why donβt more articles about the egg use the image of this egg as an βillustrationβ of βwhat the original is thought to have looked likeβ? At most they use hand-drawn illustrations.)
I havenβt seen any other real-life reconstruction of the Cherub and Chariot like this before. It is clearly meant to be just that, as the resemblance would be too much of a coincidence otherwise. But the question is when and how this βcopyβ came about. You can buy collectors copies of all the extant eggs, but Iβve never ever seen a copy of this one for the simple reason that it isnβt extant. So who made this one?
Itβs a very strange listing. The stuff about the owner keeping the sapphire is especially s
... keep reading on reddit β‘i just found out that the cherub company stands for both " cheer up " and " cherubium ( which is the 3 highest angel in the bible ) " :)
Thought it would be interesting to see if people would find it more or less interesting or if it wouldn't make a difference. If you have a moment then comment why
Happy new years to everyone! Also any hot takes on the series? Series 1 & 2
