Before we adopted him, this little guy hadn't seen a vet in nine years and now has only one canine to his name. However, what he lacks in tooth, he makes up for in claw.

The year was 2005: I had just turned 14 and my right adult canine tooth had yet to grow in. Layers of LA Looks gel coated my hair, and I was wearing my favorite weekend outfit. I was invincible, and incredibly unpopular.

Broken puppy canine tooth?
My 5-month-old labradane puppy broke her upper left canine about a month ago. It broke down farther about a week later, so we took her to the vet. No exposed pulp, but vet said with a broken tooth that getting tetanus is a (very low) possibility. We opted not to have the tooth extracted because it's a deciduous tooth and should be coming out soon anyway, so why put her through surgery? I looked again today and it appears as though it either broke off at the gum or fell out and the adult one is coming in in its place. How can I tell for sure? (This is my first dog so I'm sorry if it's a stupid question.)

What is the cost to fix an impacted canine tooth in Canada?
Hi,
I have a canine tooth that didn't erupt and I already got my teeth extracted to make more room for it to come down. I'm an international student who will be moving to Canada to study this Fall, so I'll have to find a clinic in Canada to continue the treatment.
I'll have an exposure surgery in July which is about one month before my flight, and exposing the canine tooth is probably all my orthodontist can do with the limited amount of time I have left. . However the thing that worries me the most is the amount it would cost to do the rest in Canada, since I already paid a lot in my home country. Given that they only have to pull the tooth down, how much do you think I should expect to pay? My current orthodontist is more in favour of extracting it rather than pulling it down given the time I have, so I'm kinda sitting on the fence right now. I don't know much about orthodontics in Canada or America so I really hope that you guys can give me some insight.
Thank you all in advance!

I got my lower braces on, but they're connecting through to the 2 canines, leaving out the incisors. So the wire goes a bit curvy than straight on the tooth. For last 4 days I have lip cuts, is this expected? Or has the doctor done something wrong? Ignore the yellow plastic, it's from the spices.

My orthodontist was sure the root had gone as far as it could by itself, so he was gonna have me go through an exposure procedure to get a chain put on the canine, but due to covid I hadn't been able to get that done. Turns out, the tooth had it in itself to grow in!

I recently got two canine implants in the lower jaw. Is the angulation of the implant on the right ( left in pic) good or will it's position cause any trouble in the adjacent tooth as it is very close to the root?. As of right now there is no pain in the adjacent tooth. Is it good ?

Green colored tissue after canine tooth ext
Our 18 month old rescue dog had her upper canine extracted ten days ago and we were checking her gums today and noticed this green color in her gums. I couldnβt wipe it off like it was some pus. The dog is happy playful and does not seem to be in pain. What can this be ?

I was pleased with treatment but now I have a gap between my front tooth and the one next to it that never existed. I only have 2 weeks left. Also upset my canine never moved. They didn't mention that would be an issue. That was actually what I said was my reason for getting SDC my first visit.

Puppy lost fractured canine and thereβs no visible new tooth
I have a 5-month old half pitbull half siberian husky puppy. She hasnβt been fixed, just finished getting her vaccinations on Monday. No health problems besides the broken tooth.
She broke her left top canine tooth when she was just under 4 months. We called the vet about it and decided to wait for it to fall out. It fell out approximately a week and a half ago? Possibly a bit more. The gum has almost healed over, there is still a small wound where the tooth was but I donβt see an adult tooth in sight. Is that something for me to be worried about? I have anxiety and worry too much, and we canβt afford to pay for a vet appointment to check this out if thereβs no reason to be worried and I canβt find anything about it online so I feel stupid asking my vet until i know something is wrong. All of her other teeth were pushed out by adults, which grew in only days afterward so this seems really abnormal to me. But she also has only lost the tiny teeth so far, not canines. The tooth was broken by a toy, it bled at first but she never seemed in pain and ate normally and we watched for signs of infection but it started getting red and loose a week before it fell. We almost took her to the vet because we thought it was infected but then noticed it was loose and it fell out only a day later. I mostly want advice on whether this is a dangerous situation at all, or if the tooth will just push through the gum when it starts growing in. Should I take her to the vet to get this further checked out? I have pictures, but I donβt know how to upload them through a link since it seems like thatβs all I can put here. Edit- i figured it out, hereβs the link-

Tiny canine tooth on left side with deep little groves
So idk why it is so small I neglected my teeth and drank plenty soda in the past so just got this tooth filled my dentist lasted a while on this tooth and in the end she covered all the front of the tooth with composite she made it a little bigger from the front also but from the back I can still see my small tooth with the extra composite coming out of it lol im so worried about what the front looks like without the filling since she filled it from the gumline down. She didnt mention it being really bad or anything and I was tempted to ask for a mirror to see it prior to the filling is it normal for her to have left it that way, was there that little tooth left I have so many questions I will be asking my next appointment

[HELP] My aussie chipped the tip of her bottom canine tooth!
My aussie chipped the tip of her bottom canine. Not sure how, but maybe from catching a toy? It definitely was from today. It's not a major chip, but she's only 16 months old, and she's always had really nice pretty pearly whites, so I feel so bad :(
She's not showing any pain, which is good, but we'll still keep an eye on it and take her to the vet, but I feel so bad since she has such pretty teeth! I feel so guilty for letting her chip her pretty tooth lol. Any tips? I am a little happy tho that this could be an opportunity to get her a silver crown on her tooth, since you can do that with dogs. But if we can't do that, we'll just get it capped.

Broken puppy canine tooth, broke permanently canine as well
My puppy broke his canine tooth, I have zero clue how. I noticed Saturday morning while he was laying on the floor. Well we went to the vet today and they had to extract it, found it had broken his permanent tooth coming in behind it. They pulled both of them so our boy will never have a top left canine. Anyone had to have this perm tooth pulled? I know weβre on the downhill now but looking for others who had it and how your dog coped.
Also, how do I keep him from biting or chewing on anything for 2 weeks??
Any advice and or comments appreciated. Have been crying feeling like I failed him somehow.

Went to the dentist to see about my loose canine/baby tooth. Turns out my adult teeth are growing in sideways and now I have to get the baby teeth removed, get the adult teeth removed, and have fake teeth on a retainer.. Iβm 21 and I get to pay for this mostly out of pocket. Score.
