I've got a bag of frozen bay scallops that need to be used. I usually do them with pasta but my husband and I are trying to lose a bit of weight so are avoiding carbs. We've been eating lots of salads, but scallop salad sounds... Not very appealing. Any ideas what to do with them?

Aloha Trader Joeβs lovers! I recently purchased the Peruvian bay scallops from the frozen section, but when did not get great results when I thawed them out and cooked them.
I went with the quick-thaw option and patted them dry before throwing them in the pan, but there was so much of that blue, milky-looking liquid.
I couldnβt get them to sear or absorb any flavor. Had to toss them.
Any suggestions? I donβt want the bag I purchased to go to waste.
