A list of puns related to "Bachelor Of Commerce"
So to keep this post short, I'm a 2018 HSC graduate and got into Data Science. I'm doing the core DATA1001 but the thing is I can't see myself doing this kind degree for the next 2 years. Planning to switch to Bachelor of Commerce but I've heard it's kind of useless. Just want people's opinions. Thanks.
Do you guys think that it is possible to apply even though I havenβt taken one class yet? Also does anyone know the competitive GPA? Thanks
So, I applied for the AFM program in Waterloo and i got deferred into the Bachelor of Arts/Business, I dont really want a degree in the bachelor of arts and I was really looking forward to joining AFM.
Considering this I also have an offer from University of Calgary, a degree in commerce with a major in Finance. Although there is no co-op.
What university do you think would be better for me, considering i would like to have a good amount of work experience and land a safe job after i graduate. Although, U of C is much cheaper.
Also, Im an international student doing the IB Diploma (dont know how i got deferred tbvh my score is not that bad)
Any suggestions ?
Iβll be studying at monash for my foundation year
Can anyone give me any advice on what units to take in first year? Also I am doing 3 engineering classes every 1 commerce class.
If Iβm more focused on working in finance than in software engineering, would it be better to go to usyd or unsw? Please help.
I was wondering if anyone knew if we are able to take " GEOG*1350 Earth: Hazards and Global Change F,W (3-0) [0.50] " as a liberal elective course as a bachelor of commerce student. I am aware that it's stated in the liberal elective section that Bachelor of Science students can not take it, but I was wondering if there's an exception for other degrees?
What are the prospects of doing Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne? Can I do internships from the end of my second year? Also, I've heard that firms are slowly moving away from Commerce graduates to math based graduates. Is it true? Would like an insightful review of the course and prospects from an alumnus or a third year student :(
Ps: international student here
Morning all,
Iβve recently applied to, and hope to be accepted to both the Bachelor of Commerce, and Bachelor of Computer Science programs at Carleton.
Iβm hoping to gain some valuable insight from current students, as to which one would be more useful when itβs all said and done.
Iβve worked in the trades for a number of years with the goal of upgrading some courses, and saving so I can go to University - and Iβm finally at that point! I am genuinely interested in both, and am more so interested in what everyoneβs thoughts were.
I see a general trend in various job searches that even the business related jobs seem to have some kind of computer science knowledge requirements, which Iβve found interesting.
Not looking for an answer as to which program I should take specifically, just your thoughts!
Cheers, all! And happy Friday!
Inclusive of the required 192 credit points, does anyone knows what it means by
"a minimum of 24 credit points at 4000 level from Table A for the Bachelor of Commerce, or Table S, including a research, community, industry or entrepreneurship project of at least 12 and up to 36 credit points."
What are the 4000 level units and how can we choose them?
Many Thanks
Hey, another grade 12 student here. I'm wondering if anyone is in the BCom and JD Double degree program, or any JD Double degree program? How is it? Is it difficult to maintain the required average throughout the first two years? Also curious what was your average when you applied?
Thanks in advance!
Hey guys! Iβm an international student with an offer for the above mentioned course at Humber. I wanted to know more about the teaching, career services for the course and the Lakeshore campus residence.
Thanks!
Ok guys I have been enrolled at Concordia as an independent student for almost two years. Next semester I will have no other choice than to pick a major once and for all, however, i am confused.
I decided to go back to University because I knew it was something I had to do, I immigrated four years ago to Canada and I still have the desire to learn and finish my higher education.
At first, I enrolled in Concordia wishing to get accepted to the psychology program. Then reality hit me and I realized I am "too old" to take this path. Furthermore, I dont have the means to support myself through graduate school, specially when you are as handicapped in a city like Montreal - I don't speak French.
I am aiming to get a job in marketing or international business ( I have work experience in international business, specifically in the food industry), thus, I made the decision to get a degree in marketing at JMSB, but after hearing comments from friends and others I am starting to doubt if its even worth it.
Getting into JMSB requires "good grades"- which I have, but also it demands more time; I'm required to do all these required courses, to eventually take a bunch of business courses that I am not sure how useful they will be.
In conclusion, my questions are:
Is it true marketing is a useless major? Would you agree saying that going to JMSB made you more competent or prepared for "real life"? I am not the best at Math, but I am very disciplined when it comes to school. How important is math when it comes to core courses?
So let me get right into it. Iβve been dating my partner for 3.5 years, but weβve been friends for about 3 years before that. He had always had a thing for me, and waited around for our timing to line up. We moved in together a year and a half ago when I started my PhD program, and we had a seemingly healthy, open, if somewhat imperfect, relationship. I always felt loved by him, and even though he can be impatient and struggles with pretty significant ADHD I never doubted for a second how much he loved and was devoted to me.
This NYE at 3am after we got home from a night out, as we were watching something he very abruptly tells me he needs to confess something to me. He then confessed to cheating with me at a bachelor party he went to in Costa Rica last June. I was so shocked, I felt like the rug had been pulled out from under me. It turns out she was one of the sex workers who was working the club they got a table at, and at the end of the night she propositioned him and he βimpulsivelyβ said yes after drinking, doing coke, and staying out all night for 3 days along with that toxic male peer pressure. He says they used a condom, she had a βlicenseβ meaning she had to get tested every 2 weeks, and he got tested there and as soon as he got back to the states (I made him print his records and get tested again).
Iβve basically been dissociated ever since. I feel numb. Part of me is glad he eventually did tell me but I am more upset about the 6 months he kept it from me. We signed a 2 year lease in that time. I spent the holidays with his family away from mine. He comforted me 4 months ago when we found out my DAD was on a date with another woman. Iβm just disgusted by the misogyny of it all, and feel like my trust has been betrayed and violated. I am pretty liberal sexually, and though we donβt have an open relationship he knows I question the concept of monogamy and weβve talked about threesomes etc. but of course...these require respect and communication and maturity all of which this doesnβt show. Iβve also been going through a significantly hard time in my PhD program, and feel particularly betrayed by the timing as well as have been having the cliche βI drove him to do thisβ thoughts, as I have never been more stressed and unhinged in my life.
He assured me itβs been eating him alive, and he told me because he wanted to be held accountable. This is the only instance of cheating in his past (lucky me) and he assures me the whole experience put him of
... keep reading on reddit β‘This is a very negative rant and it might even end up getting deleted but I just wanted to get it off my chest. Kaitlyn's recent social media activity and Hannah B's pathetic shill where she didn't even make or show the food she was shilling inspired this post.
I think people really need to stop putting BN contestants on a pedestal (ex. Calling contestants your "lord and saviour", your "queen", taking pictures with them and acting like you just met a huge celebrity). These contestants are just NORMAL people. They are no better than me or you. All they did was go on a show where the lead liked them enough to keep them long enough.
These people have done NOTHING for us. They come on the show for themselves and they shill products so they can make $$$. The least these people can do to show their gratitude for their followers is to shill products wholeheartedly and honestly and be respectful when the audience tries to give you feedback for a podcast that is MEANT TO ENTERTAIN YOUR FOLLOWERS. But nope. They complain about us instead.
I am on this sub for the unverified tea, spoilers and the discussions about all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. Reality TV isn't a happy, positive genre. Reality TV is for people who like DRAMA and like watching people embarass themselves. We are allowed to support reality TV people but just as much as we support anyone else in our lives. We don't need to gush over them and blindly agree with everything they say/do, they are just people and they are just in it for themselves.
I don't want this sub to turn into a stan subreddit. These contestants already act entitled, we don't need to contribute to it by gushing over them (ex. Posting pics with them, posting their picture, saying "we don't deserve them", "our queen", etc), especially on this sub.
TL;DR: I'm tired of people acting like these bachelor nation contestants are superior than us. I like being critical and not blindly supporting people who aren't contributing anything of real value.
So, hey guys I am currently studying BMS, second year from Mumbai university. I wanted to know what can I do with BMS that will help me in career, as I have got good amount of free time on my hands.
I did some Google search and following are the results I got:-
2.mba:- It can be done after BMS.
3.MMS(MASTER IN MANAGEMENT STUDIES):- Same it can be done after BMS.
So, as you can see most good opportunities are after BMS and I don't want to waste my free time, i have got now.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
SAY LOUD FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK.
Rachel spoke to ET about the disappointment of Mike Johnson not being the Bachelor.
_"Peter seems like a very nice guy. He seems lovely. This is absolutely nothing against him, but how many Peters have we seen before? What season are we on? 24. So, we've seen 24 Peters. I'm bored. And it's nothing personal against him," Lindsay said
"I want to be hopeful, but when you have a contestant like Mike Johnson, who seems to check all the boxes, how is he not the Bachelor? I don't understand," Lindsay said. "I'm sure they have some reason for not picking him, and I'm going to trust in that, but at the same time, the system isn't working in giving us a Bachelor who is a person of color. So we need to change the system. Something has to be done. Break the rules, step outside the box, give the people what they want "
On Lack of Diversity and seeing the girl chosen for Peter's season:
"The Bachelor is in charge of saying what they're interested in and what they're not. Some people don't know that -- they do ask you," Lindsay revealed. "You've seen some of the girls that Peter's dated. It came out before, his girlfriend was in the news from the past, before Hannah. So, you know what his type is at this point. And so, I expect girls to look more like Hannah than they do like me or someone else of color
