A list of puns related to "Angelo Dundee"
From reading the Iron Mike book about his time with Cus, I discovered that Cus did not respect Angelo Dundee. He thought Angelo wasnt a real trainer, and said Ali mostly trained himself.. is there any merit to this or just rivialy?
Curious because Angelo is marked as one of the great trainers but maybe he is just a great cornerman.
Arcel trained 20 world champions.
Dundee 15.
Duva 19.
Are we going to see someone as prolific? Or are those days gone?
Every sport needs an iconic father figure, a face that holds the timeless scars of both experience and wisdom, a face that weathered the storm. Football has Lombardi, Basketball John Wooden, Baseball Casey Stengel, Hockey Scotty Bowman, and Boxing had Angelo Dundee.
Dundee had the soft spoken ability to control his fighters no matter how brash their personalities were he was and perhaps always will be the most humble man in the sport. Even into his 90s he was famous for thanking anyone who just wanted to listen to his stories. This could only further complement the outlandish personalities of the boxing superstars he helped take to glory. He gave these larger then life people perhaps their only voice of sanity and reason.
Angelo was born in Philly like so many boxing greats, he and his 5 bothers were all first generation Italian Americans, the sons of the a shepherd who took his wife to America after the first world war. His oldest brother Joe was the first of the family to step into the squared circle. Joe changed his name from Mirena to Dundee in order to avoid racial tensions and discrimination. At the time Italian immigrants were considered to be an inferior race. The bigotry that Dundee was exposed to certainly helped him to understand the fighters he would work with for the rest of his life. In one regard Dundeeβs whole life was a reminder of racial issues every time someone spoke his name. Certainly a common ground that he and Ali could connect upon.
Angeloβs brother Chris Dundee was the next in the family to get into the sport but he did it as a promoter, his boxing career never got off the ground and he quickly realized the money wasnβt in the ring. Chris started promoting fights in Virginia, and then moved his operation to New York, the boxing capital. Angelo was 13 years younger then Chris but as soon as he was old enough he followed his brother out to New York around 1947. He learned the sport from the bottom up, dong everything from working in the corner to carrying spit buckets. To Angelo it was the most glamours life someone could live. He was front and center for some of the biggest names in boxing learning countless techniques in the hopes of one day being a professional corner-man.
Chris moved his operation to Florida because it was one of the last viable untapped markets. In Miami he opened the 5th street gym which is now perhaps the most famous gym in the history of the sport. He hosted the first interracial boxing match with

For those of you seeing this for the first time, I began a project last summer where in a made-up universe, each U.S. state (commonwealth for the people in KY, MA, PA, and VA) had their own state soccer team. I have done Part I revised a few weeks ago, and now I am on to part two!

I recently went on holiday to Thailand and ended up at a Thai League 1 game: Muathong United vs Nakon Ratchasima.
I noticed that former Dundee midfielder Jesse Curran was on the roster (he was injured but sat in the stands). It got me thinking, how many other former Scottish Premiership players are in South East and East Asia at the moment? So I did some digging about and here is what I got:

I want everybody on this thread to post young players who aren't typically mentioned a lot, but have either been fantastic for you, or even other teams, but aren't those typically mentioned. I.E: Moukoko, Arzeo, Ugarte are big "NO" here.
As I'm managing Leeds, they have a few that I'll add in. But, I'll start with:
Kerr Smith - Dundee United Angelo - SAN / Santos Ilan Meslier - Leeds Pascal Struijk - Leeds Alejandro Balde - Barcelona B Rodri - Real Hispalis Max Dean - Leeds Jack Jenkins - Leeds Lewis Bate - Leeds Julian Alvarez - River Plate Abel Ruiz - BRG/ Braga I think De Ketelaere - Club Brugge Goncalo Inacio - Sporting CP Seb Walukiewicz - Cagliari
These are players I either have directly managed and achieved with, or I've seen them topping charts in other clubs & leagues

Note : This is a word-for-word copy of my post from GTAForums, I'm posting this here because of the below listed reason.
The purpose of this post is to ensure that everything we know about the rumored Trilogy are contained in a single, long post. I will be listing some of the hints and teases that we had over the past couple years that suggests the remaster/remakes are indeed happening, so that people who are new can understand why there are so many people here believing the rumors.
I'm not going to include anything said by any leakers or data miners as some people choose not to believe them anyway, but if you're interested in that and trust their word, there are multiple posts by @Tez2, @Yan2295Β and @Mach1bud in GTAForums where they say the Remakes/Remasters is real and happening, so go check them out! Personally, I'll give them the benefit of doubt.

2019 October 11 - Ruffian Games working with Rockstar.
On October 11th of 2019, Ruffian Games started hiring for unspecified titles that they were working on with/for Rockstar Games. This is the earliest job listing which mentions them working for Rockstar.

Speculation
We don't exactly know when they started working with Rockstar, it could be even early 2019 for all we know. Maybe they didn't need more employees until the project got into full production in October 2019. Which also happens to be the month before when RDR2 was ported to PC, so maybe the relatively small team which handled RDR2 PC port could have started helping Ruffian Games with the Trilogy during that period, same with other Rockstar Studios, I think it is not out of the world to think something like that could have happened especially if theyβre remakes instead of remasters.
Now, Rockstar acquiring Ruffian Games could have been them simply 'expanding and enhancing' themselves as many peop

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
