A list of puns related to "Aeta"
I appreciate meticulousness in story telling. Part of that are the songs written/selected for Takagi-san provide a look at her frame of mind, how she sees the world around her, and Nishikata. A background thread in the songs is a sense of boredom and frustration with everyday life. I wonder if pre-Nishikata Takagi was a bit morose, someone who plotted deliberate teases to spice up the gray of her world. And then, on her first day of Middle School, she meets a boy who is a splash of vibrant color.
A huge handicap for me is I don't understand Japanese and have to rely on translations. I speak a bit of German, Russian, and Spanish so I know the difference between a literal translation and the actual intent of the native phrase. The use of Yume De Aetara as the end song had a bunch of people reacting with "That is a great song I haven't heard in years." I had little luck finding an English translation of the song. Then I ran across a rock version by the group 175R, used as the closing song for a movie "Den-O". Not familiar with this in the least although the video gives me "Scott Pilgrim vs the World" vibes. However, the video of their version has English lyrics at the bottom of the screen. And now the first episode's bizarre dream sequences snapped in to sharp focus. "If we met in dreams... well... What words should I use when I embrace you?" Ah! Meticulous story telling indeed!
I've been playing this mod from warband which is called Nova Aetas and its suuuuper good. It's so detailed and really is tailored for a long gameplay. Though it has its own pros, some features just makes the game very tedious such as farming (with the invisible wall on wheat), traits, etc. Also, I don't know if this is the appropriate site to post this on but I'd like to give some tips and tricks about it. With that said, I'll be discussing some glitches/loopholes that might be helpful.
1.) Let your custom troops be naked and it will decrease the recruitment (done in castles & towns I think) price by a TON. Im talking about 39k recruitment price to a mere 1,320 florins. After you save up a lot of troops, let them wear anything you want. Be warned that you'll have to pay for removing and adding armor but it will definitely be lesser than recruiting the troops with full armor. As such, even a recruit can wear an end-game armor; however don't do this as I'll discuss it in the next.
2.) Dont train custom troop recruits as they do not have any upgrade path. Same goes for every middle-tier troops such as militia, archer,man-at-arms, etc. Just go directly to the end game troops which are knights, sharpshooter or heavy infantry. Also, they have a better stats so you want to make sure they use the weapons/armors effectively :)
3.) In terms of religion, it seems that you cannot go to churches of a different religion. For example in my case, I selected Judaism in the character creation and all of the towns only show "Visit local synagogue" which means I cannot change my religion. However, if you really wanna change it, there's a really great glitch where you can reselect your religion. I highly recommend you backup your main character's save first before doing it though. What you need to do first is: I.) start a new game, then select "test character (for mod testing) as it will instantly create a character without going to the character creation screen.II.) After creating a test character, go back to your main characterIII.) Press C and voila, you basically go to another creation process and you get to select which religion you want to have.
4.) Utilize the colonies in the new world as a station for garrison because the weekly wages won't be computed if you place your troops there, granting you a larger weekly income + more troops at your disposal.
That's pretty much the stuff I found that are very helpful in my playthrough. As a bonus, he
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hi everyone. I've got 3 questions regarding the new mod.
Can anyone tell me if Nova Aetas mod needs to be upgraded everytime the vanilla M&BII receives an update on Steam?
And where can I find the most reliable download site for the mod? (I hope the site also has detailed information on what the mod is, how to install, etc. since I just heard about it for the first time)
Does anyone know if the system requirements for the mod are lighter than the vanilla version, or almost the same?
Thanks. πΊ
