A list of puns related to "Advertising To Children"
There is an obesity epidemic in the U.S.
From the '60s to the late '90s the rate of childhood obesity grew about 3X.
Obesity is a material health risk, and related to diabetes among other diseases. Other nations faced with similar expansions of the national waistline have had success by restricting the advertising of food to children. See the success Chile has had recently in the linked article.

Regulations on advertising to children for other products, such as cigarettes have proven legal. The U.S. should implement a similar regulation of food advertising to children to fight the obesity epidemic.
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 52%. (I'm a bot)
> An advert for a Monopoly-themed online casino game is to be banned by the advertising regulator over concern that use of the board game's familiar cartoon mascot - Rich Uncle Pennybags - might appeal to children.
> The Advertising Standards Authority found that the ad, which appeared on the Mirror Online website, breached its code, which says that gambling ads must not be designed to appeal to young people.
> Entertaining Play, whose parent company, Gamesys, also manages gambling products using Richard Branson's Virgin brand, argued that the character of Mr Monopoly, or Rich Uncle Pennybags, was not likely to be attractive to children.
> The company added that the colours used in the ad were not "Garish or overly vibrant and did not draw inspiration from youth culture" and that it had taken steps to ensure it was only targeted at over-18s. Mirror Online told the ASA it did not believe the ad would appeal to children and included a label reading 18+. But the ASA said there was no way to ensure under-18s would not be exposed to the ad and that it did not comply with the code.
> The ad featured a prominent image of the Mr Monopoly character which had exaggerated features reminiscent of a children's cartoon, which meant the image would also be appealing to under-18s.".
> "Taking account of the ad as a whole, we considered that the use of the Monopoly logo and the depiction of the Mr Monopoly character meant that the ad was likely to appeal more to under-18s than to over-18s.".

Hey Kishara, don't speak ill of the dead is regarded in society as somebody who has a drug or an alcohol problem. Not someone who supported advertising to children as they murdered people throughout South America like piss poor Reagan. Or shit show Bush and his whole families many Orientalist views, the best ideology to come to earth since Nazism. Not to say degrading human beings in a legislative form isn't your American strong suit, but I'll hush my pretty little lips so your fascist propaganda can live on.

Was this a universally held belief? Were they more disliked or iconic than professions like lawyers? Or were they just another white-dollar job?
Children are by far the most influential demographic in all of advertising and channels like Disney and Nickelodeon have made millions off the exploitation of growing minds who do not know any better. Youtube is probably more relevant today but it still stands. The exploitation of young minds for profits should not be allowed on a federal level.
Scrolling through instagram and iβm shocked at the amount of people who create instagram accounts of their babyβs and children. Not only do some of these people make instagram accounts for their children but they also dress them up and pose them next to their own brand in order to advertise. I think itβs absolutely disgusting that these underage kids are being made into human puppets for their parents to make money and profit off of. They SHOULD lose custody of their children or at least be held accountable by the law.
