A list of puns related to "Electronic Media"
Does anyone know if the EMF major is competitive to get into? Also how impactful would you say the creative essay is as part of the admission application?
I’m transferring to Towson this Spring, I’m just worried about not getting accepted since it is a pre screened major.
Hi,
I wondered how much does social media impact that you find new artists. I got the feeling that more "classic" bands, like rock, need to have a very dominant presence. A lot of pics while jamming, recording, cool band pics and so on.
I listen to mostly electronic stuff, breakbeat, garage and for me, it's just about the music. I really don't care that much for the person behind and don't want to read a long PR text about where there from and what has inspired them. Only if the Music is phenomenally good and unique, I want to know more, but mostly about what gear they used or what they sampled.
In this case, however, I noticed that these artists often are very hidden and reserved and don't post social media stuff at all, except new releases.
Maybe it's hard for me to understand because I'm an electronic musician myself. I mostly post stuff from artists that I like with visuals, with the goal of showing cool music (and sometimes my music) and visual art from lesser known artists to more people.
So, what do you guys think?
Did you ever see a post of some dude with a 909 and thought - wow, I need to check him out! What in interesting personality!
I get that it's up to the judge's own discretion, but what would be the reasoning behind not allowing video, streaming, recording, etc.? I'm kind of guessing it might have something to do with being able to say that people in the jury pool weren't privy to the details and therefore wouldn't be unduly biased. This might be a good thing so that it's harder for PF's attorneys to argue he didn't get a fair trial. What are your thoughts about the ban?
Ok so I'm a sophomore and have decided to pivot in a completely different direction in life. I did some calculating n it looks like right now I'll get into em/b second semester of next year (assuming things go right) which is kinda bumming me out. Does anyone know if there's a way to expedite this? Should I email the department or my current advisor or smth? If I can't I'll live I guess 🤷♀️
I swear, half the stuff on that subreddit is nowhere near insane. And anyone who thinks it’s insane is clearly under the age in Reddit’s ToS anyway.
Mom demands to know where you are after school because you didn’t check in? What an insane overbearing controlling parent!
Dad took away your SnapChat because you’re 14 and probably shouldn’t have that shit anyway? INSANE.
Parents took away the WiFi password because you didn’t do your chores? INSANE AND SLAVERY!
Just because your parents are parenting you and not allowing you to run amok unchecked doesn’t mean they’re insane/bad parents. And while there is some insane shit there, there is a very large percentage that isn’t.
The overwhelming suggestion remains however that such technology could be used for purposes of harassment and even mind control.

I've been told I like my phone too much by many people, and i do try to stay off it, it's just nothing else was as stimulating or interesting as the Facebook drama and reddit mobbing or talking to random ass people about random ass things. But I've also started feeling a need for learning and reading and painting again. Things I havent done in a while. But I'm very interested if anyone else has felt this after tripping?
