A list of puns related to "Throat irritation"
Using the mighty medic with primarily T18 Jasmin, staying around 180c-190c. My throat gets sore and lungs a bit wheezy. Could I be overdoing it, or is it possible that the particular strain is more irritating than others?
I feel my 2 year costo battle is shifting from right side to left side. From sternum to neck and upperback. My entire upperbody hurts. But lately my throat muscles, jaw muscles are very tight. I can't say they hurt but the tightness is so uncomfy. Ive seen an orthopedic surgeon lately and he did a bonescan and told me I don't have costo cause he can't see any inflammation. Which is just bs cause I feel my sternum and upper chest is inflamed. So he has made me very insecure. He says it might be fybromyalgia. But I saw a rheumatologist last year and he did some blood work and never mentioned fybromyalgia. He just said you don't have rheumatoid artritis or anything related.
So now in stuck with doctors telling me it's prob stress. But it's not. I do get stressed because I feel tight and inflamed all the time. But I don't have any stress at the moment. Not financially, not family related, not work related. Life is actually going OK. I've had surgery for severe endometriosis and I do feel better. More energy. But costo wise I'm not better at all.
My neck, shoulders, rhomboids.. Its just all painful or inflamed. But it has shifted mostly to my throat and frontal neck. I've noticed only a oxazepam helps. Ibuprofen does nothing. A muscle relaxer does help. But hell I can't take those for the rest of my life!
I also have it at its worst when I've slept crappy and moved around a lot in my bed. I somehow also think it's my pillow or bed that's making things worse. The frontal throat muscle tightness is causing me shortness of breath. Everything pulls. Like I've had a neck lift that went wrong. And it pulls the skin of my sternum and breathing becomes difficult.
Has anyone ever heard about vagus nerve irritation or damage? Someone I spoke to who suffers endometriosis, like me. Said she has the same symptoms but has vagus nerve damage. I looked up the symptoms of vagus nerve problems and they are so much alike. Apparantly throwing up wildly can make this nerve go crazy. I threw up in hospital for 3 days after my surgery. She mentioned my nerve could be irritated because of this. It sounded a bit weird to me. So again, I googled it. And yes I found that throwing up can get this nerve to act out. I also have epilepsy, so already a sensitive nervous system. I wonder.
I suffered severe panic attacks after the general anesthesia. Had no control whatsoever. She mentioned this is all vagus nerve related. The vagus nerve regulates breathing, diaphragm, and influences ches

I don't even know where to begin. I suppose with my stats and health. 31 years old, 6' 205lbs male, caucasian. No prior health conditions. Smoker off and on for 15 years. Occasional alcohol consumption.
Approximately 3.5 years ago I had 3 of 4 wisdom teeth removed. The doctor said the one they weren't removing could cause issues so they wanted to leave it. Surgery went well. Recovery went well. At the time, I was not smoking cigarettes but I was using a 'salt nic' vaporizer. Moderate to heavy use.
Flash forward a few months, heck maybe even upwards of a year after the procedure. I start to get a tickle/sensation happening in my throat. Often I referred to it as that feeling you get a day before you wake up with a cold/flu. Just normal symptoms of getting sick (pre-covid sick, lol). This sensation doesn't go away for weeks to months followed by NO illness whatsoever. It seemingly begins to feel like a pressure in my throat. Like a lump that won't go away. Now at this point certain foods are beginning to be difficult to swallow and the collars of my shirts are irritating my neck/throat.
Few months pass by, I had a choking experience which I was fortunate to have passed on my own but now fear/anxiety is a thing. I'm careful with what I eat and won't even attempt food without water nearby. This is where I begin to get the ball rolling with my family Dr. I feel like a node under my chin/ neck is extremely swollen, I've had several family members feel the area and agree. My dr can't feel it initially but does later on. I felt horrible and went to emerge as well (where the emerge dr gave me all of 2 minutes to tell me I was anxious about covid....). My dr set me up with an ultrasound which was inconclusive/no problems found. At this point I've also done several blood tests for thyroid, cancer, etc (all negative).
Now, it's not only my throat. My symptoms include:
Headaches Ear, jaw, facial pains all over Chest pains/discomfort Exclusively left arm numb/tingling
I had an ambulance ride to emerge at one point during all of this because I thought I had a heart attack. It started with a pinch on my left side by my heart and felt like a burning/vibration sensation followed by what I presume is panic attack symptoms? ECG in ambulance reported no problems but my hospital visit was over 4hrs before they did blood work so who knows if there was damage or not.
Day to day feel like palpation or some kind of heart rate increase. I often get fluttering feelings,

The live resin and FSE carts don't do this but I don't buy those all the time as I switch with distillate. Has anyone shared my experience and are there carts you've noticed that are smoother and more gentle on the throat?
I'm wondering if any of you that are daily dynavapers have experienced any persistent throat irritation or other issues from using your dynavap. I have a BB9 which helps a lot, but it does seem like if I hit my M I can sometimes have some irritation.
Is this normal? Has anyone gone trough this? I couldnβt sleep last night at all horrible asthma
Smoking is not safe, plain and simple no?

Assuming that flavor is not very important, which kind would be the smoothest in terms of throat / lung irritation and coughing?
I've read a bit about percolation and diffusion, but then there's also recyclers, Faberge eggs, matrixes, fritted discs, spirals, people who freeze the water, people who say warm water is more humid, etc... So I'm not sure what to make of it... :)
My current piece is the VA Rattle Can and I use it with a Heat Island log vape (and before that a Crafty+).
Thanks
Have strep and looking for ways that i can get stoned without burning the shit out of my throat.
I started having LPR significantly about 5 weeks ago. I had constant throat burning for about three weeks. With 2x daily pariet, strict diet, alkaline water and gaviacon, the burning is 95% absent now. However my throat is still irritated, and sometimes sore without burning.
Has anyone else had this type of situation? Should I expect the irritation to also improve or is this as good as itβs going to get?
Thanks in advance
Does any one else have throat irritation when they try to project their voice or they say certain phrases? Itβs like a sandpaper dry, scratchy feeling that restricts you from saying what you need to sayβ¦ itβs similar to hoarsenessβ¦.
If you do have it how do you fix it?!
Is now the season where allergies are the worst? I never had issues before in my home country but now (first time in Poland in this month august September) my throat is like irritated and dry because of the weather Ever since it started getting colder and no sun Is it just me or does this happen? Lol
About a month ago I (26F ) let out a very loud scream in my classroom and my throat has been sore since. Urgent care told me it was laryngitis and told me to take ibuprofen 600mg. I was freaking out about damaging my vocal cords because I was still having trouble talking a week later and ended up having a panic attack which triggered acid reflux (the next day I started burping, coughing, getting post nasal drip, tasting something sour at the back of my throat, my throat feeling super dry the next morning.) I did end up seeing an ENT, he told me that my vocal cords were fine but that I likely had silent reflux (whether it was something I already had or was just caused by my anxiety idk). Normally I donβt have any of those symptoms, I might get heart burn once or twice a month but I donβt often eat junk food, just coffee a couple times a week and sleeping on my front.
Iβve been taking pantoprazole 40 mg for the past week and just finished a round of dexamethasone.
Yesterday my class was being rowdy so I had to raise my voice, nowhere near as loud as the scream that caused this, but louder than I have been these last few weeks. My throat bothered me for the rest of the evening but it was a little better the following morning. Today I didnβt raise my voice as much, just soft talking but now my throat is feeling super inflamed, my face and throat are red and hot (no other sign of it being a fever). I had another appointment scheduled for the end of the month but I moved it up to this Friday.
How do I get my throat to stop being irritated? Iβve been drinking honey and tea, sleeping on an incline, no acidic food, talking little most days. I feel so uncomfortable and I do get tightness and the globus feeling too.
Please help me, Iβve been dealing with this for a month and I just want my voice back. I canβt help but thinking this will never go away.
So I started using vape carts as my go to, a couple weeks ago I went to the hospital with blood in my sputum and the doctor said it's most likely from the vape carts and I'd be better off SMOKING MY FLOWER IN A PIPE his words not mine. So I quit using the carts for a couple weeks, lungs are fine, throat is fine. I got another cart 2 days ago, same symptoms throat sore, coughing up specs of blood and wheezing like hell. My advice is to steer clear of the damn things but I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?
Hello everyone. 15 hours ago I seasoned a carbon steel wok indoors. I don't really have any mechanical ventilation but I did open a window.
I tried to turn the wok blue by burning it in for 20min. There was also oil in pan. Anyway now I have a sore throat and irritation in the backside of the nose. I wonder if there is a relationship or if this is just a coincidence. Has anyone experienced something similar? Should I be worried? I'm guessing these are toxic fumes
I think (knock on wood) I am starting to somewhat get the acid under control. I say this because the last few days my mouth has not had a sour taste to it or much of it at least. What I am dealing with now is a throaty that seems irritated because when or after is willow I get the sensation itβs a bit tight and last night it actually aches after a few coughs. I donβt know I guess what I am getting at is it seems my throat is more noticeable whereas the last few weeks Iβve done nothing but obsess and worry about acid. Anyone have experience with how long this part could last assuming the PPI is finally starting to work? Thank you
I've been vaping for over 8 years. Always a 70/30 or 50/50 mix. No issues AT ALL and now I'm getting a raw feeling in my throat and lots of irritation with my (delicious) DIY blends.
Why? How can this be?
I'm using Liquid Barn PG and VG.
Help I've been going thru extreme acidity since yesterday evening. Both side of ribs burns even after drinking water or sleeping 3 hours after eating. It's also irritating my throat what should I do to get relief from it immediately?
My throat is scratchy and sometimes with mild spiking pain
And when drinking water/any liquids it's itchy and wanna make me cough
I also have swallowing difficulty My throat is scratchy and sometimes with mild spiking pain
I just recently stop taking pantoprozole it's my 4month of taking it so I stop
I only get heart burn for time to time depending on the food I eat and drink. Posture also play a role in acid reflux
My question is
-How do I treat my swallow difficulty -How do I treat my sand paperlike throat -How do I treat my hoarness -Is it okay to stop PPI if my symptoms is managable
First off i smoke 3-5 joints a day. In recent months every morning i have awful coughs/sputum. If i wake up in the middle of the night i have trouble breathing normally/coughing. Started using Dymista and im better now but i dont think i do myself a favour if i smoke regularly and use Dymista? can you guys give me an advice if ill be fine just like that or need to cut the smoking.
Edit: [Worth sharing?] I work my ass off at the gym twice a day, if that helps.
I'm new to the group and just ready to find diet and things that have helped others hoping some I can use. Does anyone suffer mainly from throat soreness/dryness and migraines? I have cut gluten out of my diet
