A list of puns related to "Taxis"
Then I said: "Turn left here."
but de livery was off.
My wife was at work, thought I wouldn't waste my day off work, so wanted to do something fun with my baby.
My response was simply "erm, no I'm taking my own son out".
It was a bit of an awkward journey, fortunately only a short one.
It's not babysitting if it's my own child you idiot.
Shopping yesterday, the lady in front of me is looking embarrassed and panicked trying to decide which items to return.
As I'm loading onto the belt, I'm listening to the conversation between her and the cashier (as you do). I hear her explaining she has overspent and can't get the taxi home so needs to return Β£5 of items.
Knowing it's not an instant refund (in some cases) I just offer her Β£5. I felt bad that she was having to choose to return cheese or some meat to get home! She only had 2 bags full.
Bless her though, she wanted to take my name and address to return it.
I told her to pass it on at some point to someone in need.
Would like to think that someone would do the same for me, my family or if they saw it, but knowing most people I doubt it... I could be wrong though?
Looks like Iβll be driving Holmes for Christmas
Because cabbages.
My mom went to the ER, got checked out, was fine, didn't have a ride because it was 2:30am, so the ER just sent her home *in an ambulance*. They didn't even call us to see if we could come pick her up. She doesn't have a cell phone or driver's license, but they had our phone numbers on file. In no way did she need to be sent home in an ambulance. The hospital just did it for their own convenience and liability concerns, I believe. My mom doesn't know anything about money and was just ready to go home so she didn't argue with them.
Naturally, Medicare denied coverage of this ambulance trip because it was medically unnecessary. The ambulance company sent us a bill for $1,500 to drive her literally two miles back to her home. The hospital is basically saying too bad, it's between us and the ambulance company. The ambulance company said we took her home in an ambulance because that's what the doctor said to do. I looked into appealing Medicare's decision but there is no basis for an appeal. What can we do? This is outrageous.
With the news breaking of Taxi getting banned people are asking, why did he get banned? Will normal players get banned for using movement techniques? Respawn hasnβt been communicative in the matter and after connecting the dots fans are questioning whether any type of βexploitβ is bannable. Is moving while looting safe? what about punch boosting? Tap strafing?
As a direct result to these news, r/apexrollouts, a subreddit managed by Mokeysniper to find and share new movement techniques made a new rule which doesnβt allow βobvious exploitsβ. From mokeyβs twitter
Personally, while the way this played out came as a surprise the fact that Respawn cracked down on this specific exploit was not. While the speedhack glitch is the -first- out of all movement techniques in the game to actually be bannable, its easy use, itβs value with how broken it is puts it more in an exploit category than a movement category.
Let me explain
Apex has had its fair share of bugs and exploits through its 3 year lifespan - ranging from lighthearted movement glitches to bugs either breaking the game or giving the user a massively unfair advantage.
Some bugs were bugs or glitches that were discovered, that through a series of inputs would allow the user to make plays or movement which allows them to perform with more fluidity in their gameplay or movement - while not really gaining a ch eeto-level advantage.
Keep in mind abusing some of these exploits before they were removed from the game would probably get you banned, but nobody was that stupid and thus Respawn didnβt go out mentioning that it would get you banned and there was very little if any mention that players got banned for abusing them.
Looking at the list, itβs hard to assign specific rules to what Respawn has deleted from the game, what they kept and what they banned users for abusing. Thereβs plenty of overlap but it seems overall arbitrary. As a whole it comes down to a case by case basis, how easy it is to pull off and most importantly - what is gained. If an exploit gets too close to an actual che et feature, or if you can somehow create a resource out of thin air, it will be deleted and abusing any glitches that werenβt intended and are obviously going to be removed - especially in a tournament or ranked setting, are probably going to get you banned. It woul

For fucks sake. Don't drink and drive.
So I'm in a pretty huge city. I deliberately came here to do some street photography/rediscover my love for photography. For this reason I decided to travel alone.
I was on an intersection taking some panning shots, and noticed a guy over and over when I looked around me. It didn't seem worrisome at the time so I just let it be. He looked straight at me on multiple occasions.
After like 5 minutes I decided to walk towards my hotel and totally forgot about this guy. Then around 30 minutes later I turn around and... there he is. Again. It can't be a coincidence right?
It's very crowded so I'm not too worried, but decide to walk in a somewhat random pattern. He follows my every move. My heart starts beating faster. Do I walk into a restaurant, do I ask for help, do I find some cops?
That's when I noticed some taxis and hopped in one and made my escape. I don't really feel like going out again, at least tonight. I'm here for 2 more days.
I don't know what would have happened if I didn't notice him. In hindsight he looked pretty crazy. I was carrying an R6 and 70-200mm so it's not exactly a sly setup. Kind of making me doubt taking it out again.
Feel free to share your stories. That was a scary experience.
I left a work do in the city last night just after midnight. I flagged a cab and got in. I told him where I wanted to go which is about a 10-15 minute drive. $45 upfront! I asked why and he mumbled something about Ubers and demand. I reluctantly agreed because I was drunk and wanted to get home. Then he got lost on the way and, when we finally got there, wanted to charge me more because it took longer. No wonder people are choosing Uber and other services. I'll think twice before getting in a taxi again.
From the Marek Show:
"I believe they're talking about it, some of theories are, are you allowed to get to 20 skaters, is it possible it won't count on the cap on your non games days."
"It's on the table, how they're going to do this (on cap exemptions)."
"Teams are under the impression, that due to COVID being widespread, something is coming (on cap relief/taxi squads."

Hello there, obligatory βlong time lurker hereβ, and also the disclaimer that Iβm not a native English speaker, so feel free to point out any mistakes or unclear expressions.
Iβd like to introduce a case that I have never encountered on any English language site, which is bizarre considering that itβs not only international β crime scene in Germany, victims from the Netherlands, perp possibly from Austria β but itβs so bizarre and nonsensical, that I canβt believe itβs still unsolved.
Now, if I tell you that this case involves tourists being murdered and robbed, youβll probably think βThat sure is tragic, but itβs not exactly a rare occurrenceβ, but in most such cases, the victims didnβt get comfortable in the middle of nowhere for no apparent reason, quite far off their planned route. They also didnβt bring a violin that the robber left despite its potential worth, which means that it may or may not be a red herring. Also, most robbers donβt throw away their loot after the act. And they sure donβt ride around for hours in two different taxis, one of which they use to return to the crime scene!
But letβs start at the beginning. Truus and Harry Langendonk β 61 and 63, respectively β were a couple from the Netherlands, with Harry only recently having retired from his truck brake business when they started their journey on May 29th 1997 in Delden. Their choice of transportation was a camper, a Mercedes Benz βJames Cookβ, and since they were safety-conscious, they preferred to sleep on designated campsites with likeminded travelers. This time, their tour was going to take them along the famous and picturesque βDeutsche AlpenstraΓeβ, the German Alpine Road, where you can also find the popular Neuschwanstein castle. This is where the aforementioned violin comes into play: Along the route thereβs a place named Mittenwald famous for its violin manufacturers, where the Langendonks presumably wanted to get an estimate on their violinβs value so they could sell it later. Other than the violin, they didnβt carry anything much valuable, only their personal jewelry (like a watch and a necklace), and their travel fund in cash.
Based on the few photos that survived and witness sightings, their progress could be established as follows: They probably spent a night near Freiburg, so they reached the Bodensee (aka Lake Constance) on May 31st. Afterwards, several pictures where taken along the planned route, with one showing Harry bathing in the Walchensee, until they
