A list of puns related to "Takeover"
BUT GOD PLS NO VINCE PLS DON'T TAKEOVER (PUN INTENDED XD) NXT FROM HUNTER. AFTER ALL YOU'RE THE MAN WHO MADE SURE I STILL WATCH RAW AND SMACKDOWN EVERY WEEK EVEN IF I HATE THEM REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens rivalry is one of the most legendary of the past 10 years. Going back to 2010 in Ring of Honor, it has continued throughout the decade, with their most recent battle taking place at WrestleMania 37. However for those who didnβt follow earlier 2010βs Ring of Honor or PWG where it was El Generico and Kevin Steen doing the fighting, 2015 NXT was the catalyst. However the feud was more so just a stepping stone for their main roster feud, giving them a couple taster matches before the main course. Since NXT at the time was that, a development brand for people to get a feel of the wrestlers. But here I will be going back and rewriting the saga to fit more current rivalry traditions.
Rebook the Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn Rivalry - Part One: Homecoming
NXT TakeOver: R Evolution:
Adrian Neville (c) vs. Sami Zayn - NXT Championship
As Adrian Nevilleβs heel antics have continued on to keep a grasp of his belt, Sami Zayn has been rising the ranks, but just canβt get it done. This is his biggest opportunity yet. The match starts even as they trade counters. After a springboard moonsault to the outside, Neville hesitates coming back in before the ten count. Nevilleβs in control with Zayn hitting some big time moves before being cut off, as Blue Thunder Bomb is followed by Neville throwing him to the ropes into a German. They elbow the shit out of each other before Zayn gets the knees up on the Code Red and smoothly applies the Koji Clutch. Zayn then starts being a good guy as after the ref and Neville bang heads, Zayn checks on the ref, with the crowd and commentators shout for him to stop, only to get a Hurricanerana from behind for his troubles! Sami replies with a Half and Half Suplex, before a dive into Tornado DDT through the corner ropes!
Neville ups the heel antics further as he pulls the ref in to take Samiβs Helluva Kick, and smartly rolls out to the outside to recouperate. With the ref down and Neville in ring, Sami spots the NXT title on the mat. The crowd tell him no, donβt pay attention to it, but he picks it up. He fights with himself over using it, and ultimately doesnβt. He escapes a school boy, hits an exploder suplex, Helluva Kick and gets the three to win the NXT Championship! The crowd are overjoyed as the ring floods with talent and officials celebrating alongside Sami, including Pat Patterson. Neville and Sami hug, turning Neville face again as he raises his hand up. But lastly, out walks Kevin Owens. His b

Hello, everyone!! I'm getting ready to do my Wrestlemania for Year 2, and wanted to share the card/stories with you because I'm pretty happy with how it's all turned out.
I just realized just how long this post is, but I wanted to accurately paint the picture I've been building for a few months now. My booking has a pretty healthy mix of taking what the simulations do and telling the story from there AND carefully planning a lot of other elements by design. I use a notebook to keep track of feuds and whatnot.
Last Note: I do my Wrestlemanias on two days worth of events to fit the matches in.
ENJOY and let me know what you think!
Wrestlemania - Universe Year 2
Pre-Show:
I really liked the Slater/Rhyno story they had been telling with Rhyno wanting Slater to toughen up, so I continued it for a while with Rhyno managing Slater in Singles for a while. Slater got an upset victory over Jinder Mahal for the U.S. Championship after Mahal ran Slater down for holding he and McIntyre back in 3MB. Slater proved he wasn't a joke and won his first singles title in WWE. Rhyno then challenged his tag team partner for the gold at Wrestlemania as the final step in proving Slater's toughness. Friendly competition, but the seeds have been planted for things to turn south quickly for Beauty & The Man Beast.
I recreated Rey's return at the Royal Rumble and he was well on his way to winning before The Miztourage gave Miz an opening to eliminate Mysterio (it actually did have all 4 guys in at once, the story wrote itself). The Miz went on to say that defeating the Lucha Legend should entitle him to a WWE Championship match, even if Rey is too old and broken down for it to really matter that much anymore. Mysterio took exception to this and beat Miz on RAW in about 30 seconds, provoking the A-Lister to make Rey's life hell. Sneak attacks and verbal jabs left and right prompted Mysterio to challenge Miz once again at Wrestlemania. To even the odds that have been built up with The Miztourage, Rey beat each member to ban them from ringside (a la Orton vs Punk a few years ago) and since he couldn't fight Maryse, he enlisted the help of one Nia Jax who was sick of Maryse (as well as The Iconic Duo who act as Maryse's Miztourage) bullying everyone around backstage.
MAIN SHOW
First off, sorry if this is the wrong place the post this.
So I was thinking, as we move forward toward robotization and large scale automation, and hopefully towards basic income, one thing comes up: resource accumulation.
The race will be on for in-situ refinement technologies, which will push a lot more countries at the top to worry about being toppled from their perch. Of course, economic restructuring will happen (those more technologically advanced countries will move from refinement sales to research sales), but controlling the resource chains has been a major money maker in the past couple centuries. It thus becomes an inevitably that we will return to the days of wars over resources rather than wars of politics.
Simultaneously, capitalism and competitive ideals have won out (at least economically) for the most part over the social sharing ideals of communism. If communism had sustained itself 40 years further, then the robotization revolution, combined with their previously seen tendency for free higher education and large masses ready for technological research, would have spouted out basic income no problem.
But, today's global socioeconomic situation makes basic income a much more unlikely thing to spring forth in my mind. An idea I'd like to put forth is a complete shift towards militarization of nations.
In the past, total war and national mobilization initiatives work so long as logistic supplies last and granaries havent yet run empty. But in a robotized country, farming, refining, and much of shipment will be automated. So manpower can be largely dedicated to other areas.
Now I understand that the reason for national mobilization has usually been because of a lack of need for that scale of ammunition, military equipment and weaponry in peace time, resulting in factories having to be converted to militarized focuses in times of war. And we must also recognize a robotized nation has no need, because just as with foodstuffs, military logistics will also be automated.
So what roles are left for humans in this grim militaristic future I've painted? Well the go to thought is ground forces. Boots on the ground to control land, cities, ensure safety of economic investiture and fight off invading forces. Israel has time and time again shown the efficacy of a large population of highly trained (and thus organized) military force. And the only reason modern military efforts were an issue in Afghanistan and Iraq is because the natural po

All I need to know is BUY 'n HODL.
[EDIT] I have never wanted to be more wrong. But like Dr. Burry says in the Big Short. "There are always markers."
[EDIT 2] I'd like to thank redchessqueen for addressing this and I thank her for this sub. I really never expected my morning rant to get this much traction and I will offer a public apology if am wrong.
[EDIT 3 - Monday April 26,2021 - I have posted my follow up which can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/mz4naw/you_did_it_you_apes_really_did_it_you_proved_me/
That being said, if anything, this has a lot of eyes on it now and we'll be able to tell if there is a shift in positive gme sentiment to negative. Thus is a good thing.

As always the Wednesday ratings are posted by this account which is shared with multiple moderators. To avoid any bias the data will always be presented in Alphabetical order meaning AEW first then NXT. The order does not represent who "won" in any particular week, that is up to the users to decide. The discussion threads are linked below and the past 2 weeks of ratings data is present below as well.
With NXT moving to Tuesday night next week, this will be the final head to head competition between AEW and NXT. Users may submit posts in the future with ratings information for NXT on Tuesdays and AEW on Wednesdays as is currently done for RAW and Smackdown. Ratings posts must have the rank, demo, and viewership in the title.

Seems like there are cops everywhere in uptown yet less than 100 feet at any time from 20 kids on bikes playing chicken with cars while doing wheelies. I always like cruising through uptown on the weekends but I'm pretty sure I saw one of these kids fall onto some dudes porsche and almost get run over. Like it's literally not worth it to drive through uptown as it feels lile there's a 50% at all times you'll get caught up in the mob
Hello, I just wanted to give feedback on the red room takeover week 1. Itβs boring and Repetitive. The rewards is the same βAnimatedβ nameplates for hours of grinding the same 10 missions since launch. I suggest (or hope for the following weeks coming up) that the community receives skins, or exotic gear, or any data pads to expend the story, something other than the same boring nameplates.
Hey y'all.
I'm a recent accidict to DDG streams and I've been getting my doses from the most well know dealer on internet: Youtube. Thing is, as a newcomer into this cult, I've noticed a ton of shit that I think makes Destiny's content difficult hard to watch, and I think Destiny modifying his platform would easily make his viewership go up. So here's what Destiny can do take make his channel more watchable:
Cut off the fat, keep all the meat. Most of the time people just wanna see Destiny have specific conversations on hot button topics. Make short 9-15 minute videos that showcase the parts of the conversation viewers actually want to see.
This will do 3 things, firstly it'll make for better content because it'll give viewers what they actually want to see (the interesting dialogue within a stream). Secondly, it'll highlight Destiny's viewpoints, which will attract like minded people. And lastly, a 12 minute video is a lot more inviting than a 1.5 hour stream.
Ultimately, these videos are the hooks that bring in the new fans, they're also a great way to get newbies to watch the entire stream. You could also make a separate second channel called DestinyClips, where you could this stuff over there instead. Remember to clickbait.
This one is pretty self explanatory. They aren't there anymore which makes his latest streams on Youtube pretty hard to watch. Time stamps are essential.
I know Destiny tried to do this through his website, but honestly if I wasn't on this subreddit, I wouldn't have even known about it. So basically what I'm trying to say, is that if you want your Youtube audience to know what Destiny believes, you have have inform them using Youtube.
And by the way, your positions video doesn't even have to be a video made from scratch. It could literally just be a compilation of Destiny giving his best arguments from segments of his stream, with a picture of subtitles shown before each segment.
I'm surprised more political commentators don't do this. The only one I see taking full advantage of this is Legal Eagle. Basically all you need to do is take the shortest and juiciest segments in DGG streams, and upload it here instead. It could honestly just be Destiny slamming a Conservative or a Socialist on a stupid take and it'll do a great job bringing a mixed audience to Destiny's channel
