A list of puns related to "Pacific Movement of the Eastern World"
And they're all average. Not muscular but not fat. Not beautiful but not ugly.
I checked and thereβs barely anything on the subject besides movies such as the African Queen which are way too romanized. The African Campaign was fought in all of the German colonies and the surrounding allied ones mostly. The Pacific theater through many German pacific colonies and German and Austro-Hungarian treaty ports. The middle eastern campaign was the Ottoman Empire vs the allies and Persia vs the British and Russians. If anyone could find any movies or tv shows about those events that would be amazing.
Yes, you read that right. We are privileged and excited to announce that Hawaii Congresswoman, Major in the Army National Guard and candidate for President of the United States Tulsi Gabbard will be doing an AMA (Ask Me Anything) here at r/WayoftheBern on Wednesday, September 4th at 5 pm Eastern/4 Central/3 Mtn/2 Pacific/11 am Hawaii time!
Tulsi served 2 combat tours in the Middle East and continues to serve as a Major in the Army National Guard, having been the Distinguished Honor Graduate during Officer Candidate School. She has firsthand knowledge of the devastating costs of war, including who profits from it. Once the Vice Chair of the DNC and the βrising starβ of the party, she demonstrated the meaning of βService Before Selfβ in 2016 when she gave up her powerful position to decry the interventionist, regime-change policies of the party and [endorse and support Bernie Sanders for President.] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqQUZ13zu0o)
Sheβs paid a high price for daring to challenge the status quo, but that hasnβt stopped her: she is now herself running for the highest office in the land on a platform with the top priorities of ending regime-change wars worldwide and reigning in the out-of-control war machine. Sheβs the only candidate speaking out vociferously against the Second Cold War, a frightening truth that could put us on the brink of nuclear apocalypse within minutes.
Her mission also includes full support of Medicare for All, ending the war on drugs, aggressively transitioning away from fossil fuels, and comprehensive election reform. You can learn more about them and her other positions at https://www.tulsi2020.com/record.
We look forward to you joining Tulsi here on Wednesday!

I was checking out some World Health Organization (WHO) data about body mass index (BMI) and was surprised to find that most -- but NOT all -- of the top countries are pretty concentrated in Polynesia, Micronesia, and the Middle East. Why might this be? Or asked differently, why are so many eating the wrong foods, not exercising, not putting in the effort, or doing something else that causes it?

If I were a Native american c. 1500 west of the Appalachians, before De Soto, perhaps in modern day Kentucky or Missouri, what geographic knowledge would I have, either in the form of rumors or concrete knowledge from people in my community? Would I be aware of the great plains and the Rockies to the east? The Pacific and Atlantic Oceans? What about knowledge of other groups, like mesoamerican civilizations or distant peoples like the Cheyenne, Iroquois and Shoshone?
How would my knowledge differ if I were a trader?
Basically, I'm asking how expansive the world view of eastern woodland Native Americans was. I would also be (very) interested in answers about from the perspective of Mesoamerican, Andean, and nomadic Great Plains peoples, if anyone can answer to that, but I wanted to keep my question narrow.
