A list of puns related to "Patrician"
I hold the provinces but there seems to be no patrician decision in the decisions tab.
Its about 1490 in my latest run as Esthil, and having recently secured the city of Castanath, I now have the decision to negotiate with the city's patricians. The three options I'm given are to welcome them into government, begrudgingly grant them autonomy, or purge them. I don't know what to do. What are the risks/benefits associated with each option, both long term and short term? I read something about how you need the patricians in order to form the nation of Castanor, but I'm intending to go for the Black Demesne, so does that still apply?
Thanks.
EDIT: Title should read Castanath patricians, not Castanor patricians, woops.
Since they're not needed to from the Black Demesne, if I reinstate them can I later remove them or do they get removed automatically if you form the BD?
Hi everyone. Another silly question. I thought I was being smart giving away some monopolies to the burghers, so that I could get some free money and mercantilism before reinstating the Castronath patricians, but after about a decade, I noticed that the monopoly malus is still there and I cannot remove it because the burghers are gone. I looked for a console command to remove privileges, but found none... Reloading also does not fix it. Is there anyway to fix this or is my cloth and paper production income gone forever?

Some time ago I was reading a book on the history of the Late Republic, and there was two incidents that confused me. The first concerned Marius and Sulla. At some point a mob had been set on Sulla, who was only saved by taking refuge in Mariusβ home(or Vice versa, I read it a while ago and donβt have it on me) While this was before the escalation into civil war, this was also after their initial falling out and they were already rivals. The next incident was between Marc Antony and Octavian. Similarly, a mob was coming after Octavian and only Marc Antonyβs intervention helped them. Once again it was before escalation into war during their rivalry. It seems puzzling to me that these individuals would save their rivals from a mob. Does anyone have insight into this behavior? The only conclusion Iβve considered is that patricians would view their rivalries as something βamongst patriciansβ
Both of still existing and extinct monarchies. I do not want names, for privacy reasons of course, I just wanted to gauge the amount of people that come from a monarchist background and who instead chose monarchism on their own.
Hi, How to deal with the Castonath patricians when reforming to Castanor ?
Iβm currently playing a Brave brothers -> Castellyr -> Castanor in the Haless branch and iβm wondering about how iβm dealing with the patricians
thanks in advance
Or if the centurion would be an exceptional individual (smart, skilled, brave etc) enough could he be married or adopted into a patrician family before his 25 year contract would run out? And would he still have to serve the reminder of his contract or would he be released from the contract due to the change in status and possibly join a legion as a tribune or legate?
I'm asking about centurions, because they seem to be the rank that would interact on a more regular basis with people from the equestrian class or a patrician class. Could something like the above happen before the person in question would reach the centurion rank?
Welcome to /r/dominion's Kingdom of the Week!
For those who have not heard, Kingdom of the Week (hereafter, KotW) is a weekly thread for discussing a shared Kingdom.
Past and present KotW's can be found in this Tableau project or by following a link in the sidebar. As well, the sidebar lists the expansions from which the next KotW will be chosen, and a modmail link to submit KotW suggestions (subject to those constraints).
Feel free to discuss whatever you want in the comments below. This might include: play experience, dominant strategies, fun card combos, possible card substitutions, simulator results, you name it!
A note on spoilers: since the title of the KotW thread contains all the information you'll need to play the Kingdom, feel free to assume that others have played the KotW before visiting this thread. In particular, you should expect SPOILERS IN COMMENTS, so turn back now or forever hold your peace.
Hi r/Pen_Swap, this is my first post here, and hopefully I'll make many more in the future. Thank you everyone for looking!

All items are in either B or C condition, and have been fully restored and tested to writing condition.
-Waterman 452 1/2 LEC Sterling With Flexible YELLOW Nib Fine To Triple Broad
A very rare unique YELLOW #2 nib. Has a strange tip, with a wide flat top and a rounded base. A cool looking diamond shaped depression sits right between the tines at the tip. Very smooth and nice and soft. Yellow nibs are typically weird, but this one is weird even for a yellow. Writes excellently with good flex and good thick to thin contrast.
The body is in excellent condition with a few spots of tarnish.
here is a youtube video for further detail of the nib: https://youtu.be/BaBrPjBsIoA $550 OBO SOLD
-Waterman Nacre Patrician Flexible Fine to Triple Broad
This nib is on the upper end of performers for patrician nibs. Most that Iβve tried are semi flex with little range, but this one is full flex with a fantastic fine to triple broad. Wet, smooth, and has a sturdy, powerful feeling when used. Exactly what you would hope for from such a large and stately nib. Great range and great thick to thin contrast.
The body is in good condition with shiny celluloid and good imprinting. There are spots of discoloration on the cap and the barrel. Overall color is very good. The cap band shows some wear. The end pieces show some hard rubber oxidation. The nib is excellent. The clip is tight to the cap, and the cap screws firmly.

Very soft, wet, smooth, and with excellent hairlines. This nib puts out thick, wonderful flex, and feels fantastic when writing. Excellent. Superflex from extra fine to triple broad.

I'd like a few recommendations for a map project which I'm doing. This is a continuation of the same timeline covering the history of Africa, a Romance-speaking Latin country based within the former Exarchate of Africa, which I described here:

My question now regards the effect of this country's presence on the Islamic world. In my current lore, Gregory the Patrician succeeds in repelling the Umayyad invasion and pushes them at least back to Cyrenaica. I am unsure about what would logically happen from here; is a Christian reconquest Egypt/Levant as early as the 9th-10th c. pretty much inevitable at this point? If the Islamic world is able to hold out till the 11th-12th c., do the Crusades succeed? Or do you think they'd be strong enough to hold off reconquest attempts and survive till the present?
