A list of puns related to "National Geographic Kids"
Platforms: PC - played this game on the school computer. It was on the nat geo kids website.
Genre: 2D side scrolling Platformer
Estimated year: The first time I played was around 2012
Graphics/art style: cartoonish and took place in a city environment with some school elements to it.
Notable characters: I donβt remember player, but there were 3 bosses in the game. The final boss being a guy with an electric guitar and took place on a stage.
Notable gameplay mechanics: There were most likely water and jetpack mechanics. There could have been a laser gun power up or something.
Other details: You could skip All the levels except for the boss stages. The first boss taking place in a small structure, the second being in a dirt pit, the third being in a stage where you fight a guy with an electric guitar. The sky of the final boss area was a sort of dark purple night sky which was different from the other stages. The keyword I usually used to find this game at school was βbully.β It was trending along side the games Plutoβs secret and a dung beetle game The stage selection was a city at least in one of the 3 stages.
I am looking for some weird cartoon show that I used to watch in between 2006-2008.
The show is about a blond Steve Irwin-like kid with freckles and large teeth (not sure if he had braces) who even wore Irwin's safari clothing and hunter hat, it was about him describing his daily life at school while speaking at the camera to the viewers, but it was not exactly breaking the fourth wall, more like talking to his friend recording everything.
But what made the cartoon unique is that he treated everything that was going on at school as if he was shooting a wildlife documentary, as in, he would refer to the students, teachers, cliques, and incidents like he was describing wild animals behaving in their natural habitat, and the students themselves did behave like animals for the immersion, I do not seem to recall if other characters spoke anything, they only growled and talked gibberish.
I do not remember episodes in detail, but I do remember that he would do stuff like capture jocks bullying nerds with a hunting net while describing it as something like "We have captured the Alpha jock attempting to exert his dominance over the nerds", going to the girls' bathroom and treat it like he was about to enter inside a velociraptor nest, run away from teachers as if he was running away from lions on a pickup truck in a safari park, everything was described like he was in some NatGeo documentary.
Anyone knows what is the name of this show? if so, thanks!
Additional info:
It is NOT My Gym Partner's a Monkey, but whenever I try to search, it always shows up because of the similar premise.
I do not remember if it was on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon, or somewhere else.
I am almost certain (but I can be wrong) that was a commercial break-exclusive cartoon, because of how short the episodes used to be, everything was very quick.
I watched it on its Portuguese dub so I do cannot know the names of any of its original English VAs, however, someone who also remembers this show told me that the show is from Canada, but that little to nothing about it can be found online.
Does anyone else have this problem. We have the kids tablets and when we look at some National Geographic books that come with the Amazon subscription, the words are not written on the page with the corresponding pictures, rather it is all written on a separate blank page. It makes it difficult for my daughter to follow along and read and look at the pictures especially when the text is very small. Is this normal or is there a fix for this? Thanks
Alright, you guys work wonders, so I was wondering if you would be able to help me find an obscure TV show that I watched as a kid. I don't remember that much about it, but I'll try to give as much information as I can.
It was an animated show for National Geographic Kids. I must have watched it somewhere between 2003-2009, but it may have been on a VHS tape so it could have been even older. The show was about three animals who lived in a treehouse. Two female and one male. I am 99% sure that the main character was a female hippo, but I know for sure that the youngest one was a koala named something like Kayla. The second oldest character may have been a male frog.
The show had 2d animation and featured segments of live action to show off different animals. I specifically remember a scene about a bear and the main character making bear puns. That's about all I can remember for now. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, I would be really happy for any help.
