Hi everyone, I was scheduled for MLD phalloplasty with Miro Djordjevic in February of this year, but over the past couple months, I could not get Mount Sinai CTMS to nail down some of the details for me as far as when exactly I needed to arrive in the area (I’m coming from the midwest) and whether there would be a pre-surgery appointment in the preceding days or anything. They just said a couple times that I needed to be in the area “at least a week” before my surgery date for COVID testing. But it’s kind of difficult to make travel arrangements and book accommodations based on that information, and the cost of staying in NY means that booking something for a week or 2 out “just in case” is a major expense that I can’t take lightly.
Since it’s been like pulling teeth getting timely or clear guidance from CTMS, and with COVID still so bad in so many places (NY included), I asked them to push my date back. They moved me to May, but I’m worried I’ll be dealing with the same communication issues heading into May. So, could someone who’s had lower surgery with Mount Sinai in the COVID era possibly share how the days leading up to surgery played out for you? Did you have to go to Mount Sinai for your pre-surgery COVID test, or do they just have you do it anywhere in-state (like a drug store or something) and send them the results? If it has to be at Mount Sinai, did you have to have an appointment for it? Did you have another appointment with Miro (or your surgeon, if someone else) in the days before surgery, or just show up and talk to them day of? Do they actually contact you with detailed information at some point or will I keep having to figure things out myself? For context, I had my in-person consultations and lab work and such back in August. I have been in contact with the person who’s supposed to be the CTMS liaison or whatever but I’m sorry to say she has not been as helpful as I’d wish for and I’m hitting a wall.

In verse 4 of Judges Chapter 5, Devorah sings about the Lord coming out from Seir in Edom.
Let’s talk about this for a second because there’s alway been this fascinating connection between the Lord and territory of Mount Seir located in Edom.
The area Edom should not be unfamiliar to us for two reasons.
FIRST, it was the territory where Jacob’s twin brother Esau ended up settling.
SECOND, the location of Mount Sinai is said to be in the region of Seir.
Here’s a verse from the Torah substantiating this.
“ADONAI came from Sinai; from Seir he dawned on his people, shone forth from Mount Paran; and with him were myriads of holy ones; at his right hand was a fiery law for them.”-Deuteronomy 33:2
I think this is important to bring up because it serves as another strong piece of corroborating evidence that Mount Sinai is indeed located on the western tip of the Arabian Peninsula.
That’s right homies.
I’m saying the Christian idea which took hold around 350 A.D. that says Mount Sinai is located on the tip of the Sinai Peninsula where St. Katherine’s Monastery was built is a freakin’ FALSEHOOD!
Every shred of biblical and archaeological evidence shows that Mount Sinai is located in the western regions of the Arabian Peninsula.
And the locations of both Seir and Edom are situated smack dab in the northwestern tip of the Arabian Peninsula.
We’ve just read the verse in Devorah’s song dating all the way back to the 12th century BC clearly stating that Mount Sinai lies in the direction of Edom.

I have my consult with Avanessian at Mount Sinai for MTF bottom surgery in late May 2022. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to try to get started on hair removal now, and if so what pattern to have them remove it in, or if I should wait and get it done at Mount Sinai's office. Any thoughts from people with experience?
I have the glucose test in a week and was informed that at Mount Sinai they are not currently having people drink the glucose drink and instead are simply doing a blood test.
Has anyone had their glucose tolerance test done through Mount Sinai recently? If so, was it just a blood test without the drink?
