Had anyone traveled to the Sinai peninsula in Egypt, specifically Mt. Sinai and St. Catherine? Is it a must-see on a trip to Egypt? Is it safe for tourists?

I'm currently planning out a two week Egypt trip for next month and I'd love to hike up Mt. Sinai but it's pretty far from the other places I'll be in so I just wanted to know from people who have been if it's worth it and also safe for tourists. Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know where the Sinai map compared to the real life Sinai Peninsula?

So, long story short, discovered Lake Anubis, had the shock of a life-time, cried a little, took an epic photo, and now I'm wondering whether or not that lake has the same past in the real world, but I can't seem to figure out where they line up, other than that it's close to the Suez Canal because that's where Green (Turquoise in game) island is.

August 1994:Saudi-led Coalition forces clash with US forces, Yemeni Unity forces, GU peacekeepers; Saudi bodybuilder booed at World Youth Bodybuilding Championships, attacked by protesters protesting war in Yemen and Sinai Peninsula; portable nuke detonated in West Sinai; Egypt, Israel point fingers

The War in Arab Africa intensified this month after Coalition forces, led by Saudi Arabia, clashed with US forces, Yemeni National Unity government forces and Global Union peacekeepers, further escalating a serious conflict which has been going on for the last two and a half years.

Saudi Prime Minister, Ibrahim ibn Rabah echoed King Abdullah's earlier warnings that "The Kingdom of Arabia will not hesitate to continue to beat back terrorists and their allies and enablers."

The violent clashes in northern Yemen came as renewed fighting erupted between Israeli forces and Egyptian forces in various locations across the Sinai Peninsula following the confirmed detonation of what appears to have been a SPIND (a specialized portable improvized nuclear device) in West Sinai. Although it has not yet been confirmed who actually detonated the SPIND - both countries have nuclear weapons and expertise - both Israel and Egypt are pointing fingers at each other.

Israeli forces continue to occupy vast areas of the Sinai Peninsula as Israeli troops, backed by tens of thousands of Japanese mercenaries, attempt to push back Egyptian forces. Egypt has been widely criticized on the world stage for making use of what human rights activists are labelling "slave troops" from countries such as Sudan, Ethiopia and Congo. Such "troops" are repeatedly promised safe passage for their families into Egypt, away from various war zones across East and Central Africa and fast-tracked refugee applications and/or citizenship if they complete minimum terms of services. The use of such "troops" from those countries has been met with kneejerk reactions from Israel, which has placed sanctions on four African countries as a result.

The conflict in Arab-Africa has also spilled into the world of sport. The recent World Youth Bodybuilding Championships has been marred by protests and discontent after Gold medallist Alexander Tariq Al-Rafiq was booed when presented with his medal for the 19-21 category amid protests from anti-war protesters who gatescrashed the final minutes of the medal ceremonies.

Meanwhile, the Arabian Space Corporation, the world's largest and only corpo-state (a state owned and run entirely by a single corporation), whose territory borders Saudi Arabia and Yemen in the west and the Gulf of Arabia in the east, has reportedly been massing over 280,000 troops on its western borders in what Chief Defense Officer Imran Alwaleed has referred to as "purely a precautionary measure"
