A list of puns related to "Liquorice allsorts"
Madness! Today I opened a pack of All-sorts for the first time in years, only to find that there seemed to be missing some of the heavy hitters I liked from times past (such as the multicoloured layered one).
My first thought was - oh, well everything's always getting worse (childhood candies) and so I guess this is just another budget cut or something like that. The ratios also looked a bit off, and so I got wondering...
Then I remembered that my partner had bought two bags!! Not just one, like I'd asked her on her shopping trip.
So I opened the other, wondering if there would be different things in it, and there were! There was the multicoloured layered thing I was looking for, three of them! There were also, I noticed, on further inspected, none of the gummy blue or pink thing's with the little micro-ball things on them.
I know this isn't that crazy, but it made me think of the bag as being less standardisedly, rigidly sequentially, machine line, calculatedly produced, and that gave it a more homely feel for me.
It's probably also great for sales, subtly - if someone knows this and is really craving some good old, but _specific_ Liquorice Allsorts, they (myself included) might buy more than one pack to ensure they get the satisfaction their looking for!
(Maynard's, Bassets (brand))
Well sort of. Apparently theyβre quite bad for you, especially if youβve got high blood pressure (I have). Oops.
I love liquorice allsorts. Now I have the added thrill of a brush with death each time I eat one. Exhilarating!! Itβs almost as good as smoking used to be.
Seriously, if you donβt pick the little blue or pink ones as your favourite there is something seriously wrong with you.
Stuck in Egypt without decks so I've started using that old MixMeister software. Nothing beats the live hands-on fun I had with my 1210s back in the day, but this has been great for blending stuff of different tempo and genres. As a kid I was all about thumping house and techno. These days, aged 49 ΒΎ, it's melodic electronic/house stuff and whatever else makes me throw slow shapes in the kitchen. Would love to know what you think.

I remember getting one from Countdown about 10 years ago. It was a long piece of liquorice allsorts, covered in thick chocolate, and had a bright, multi-coloured wrapper.
I can't seem to find anything online. It's like it didn't exist.
1 pink bobbly, not a single blue, and more than half the pack contains plain liquorice sticks...
Nothing is sacred
I can find imitators, but Iβm wondering if any speciality shops import the real thing.
