A list of puns related to "Japan–Thailand relations"
Hi,
When I surf on internet and MBTI forum, it seems that lots of INFP and INTP are attracted to Japan and Japanese culture in general. It also seems that Japan is an ISFJ country (Si-Fe).
So, I'm a little curious, why lots of INFP are attracted to this country and culture, because the country doesn't seem to value Fi but more Fe?
If there are some Japanese INFP here, I'm a little curious to have your opinion about your type and your country. 😉

Update: no one gave us any trouble things actually went smoother than others cause of our tsa precheck. The only people that you may need to be worried about are the checked bag people. Didn't even try to help pure evil. Regardless landing in thailand soon still thankful
Our flight leaves on the 27th and arrive in thailand on the 29th of dec.
My wife thailand pass has the date of departure. On the 27th. My mistake but because I confirm with the faq that any changes within 72hrs are valid. I thought we were ok.
Once we got to checked bag they refuse her thailand pass and claim it was invalid. I ask her how can she know it's invalid. She didn't even scan the qr code and I also explain the 72hr rule. She state that the rule does not apply unless you miss a flight or cancel prior flight. So basically they state she screw and go home. I basically argued with them for 30min until the supervisor came out and called the thailand airport I'm going to and explain the situation very poorly I'll add. She basically was finding every reason to not let my wife on the flight. I scanned our qr code and it took me to the thailand gov site, that states it is active and valid and good for arrival until the date of the 30th of dec.
After showing them they still stood by their statement and policy that the rule is mandated by thailand and it only applies when a flight change has happened.
Than I pulled out my thailand passport that is expired because I have a usa passport now but I still have dual citizen because we are married. The thailand airport side gave the go ahead. Once I got to the gate the people on this side said yeah it's all good as long as the date is within 72hrs and they don't know why they would have stopped us for it.
So In the end I don't actually know what help us. But we manage to get pass the checked bage. I will update once I'm in japan if they give me any trouble.
If someone find themselves in my position I hope this post gave some useful info.
Show them the faq on the thailand pass it has no verbage to support their claim and the thai govt site itself say the thailand pass is still valid.
Basically the title. The flight goes from US to Tokyo, stopover for like 3 hrs then continues to Thailand. Will there be any issue with this in Japan? This whole trip seems so complicated…
I got a bad feeling about this.

Just found this little gem on https://www.jal.co.jp/jp/en/inter/jalcoronacover/
*Passengers applying for Thailand Pass (as of November 1, 2021)
"JAL Covid-19 Cover certificate" can be used to meet the requirement of having a Covid-19 Health Insurance Certificate to apply for the Thailand Pass. Please contact JAL Covid-19 Cover Assistance if you wish to obtain the certificate.
Please note that with increasing numbers of requests, it may take up to 7 days to issue the JAL Covid-19 Cover Certificate, and as the Government of Thailand requires that you apply for the Thailand Pass at least 7 days prior to your departure, we advise you to contact JAL Covid-19 Cover Assistance 14 days prior to departure.
If Thailand is your country of residence*1, you are not covered by JAL Covid-19 Cover.
Elsewhere in there it states it covers you if forced to quarantine, etc. They don't cover arrival quarantine such as if it's a condition of entry like doing the AQ in Bangkok. Also, they don't reimburse so let them pay the hospital.
Does this news yet say whether connecting flights through narita would be subject to these travel bans?
Edit: no luck finding an answer elsewear and the narita airport/authority still have not released a statement regarding the news specifically on the international to international departure page which leads me to believe that as the international terminal is not technically Japan connecting flights are still a go but i may be wrong.
The director of these short episodes is Kiyotaka Taguchi, who was the main director for Ultraman Z (2020) and Ultraman Orb (2016). The first episode of Ultraman: A New Power of Singapore is available for viewing on the ULTRAMAN OFFICIAL YouTube channel. The second episode will be released on 14 December, while the third episode will be released on 21 December. Ultraman is one of the most recognisable and iconic tokusatsu superheroes from Japan, with many unforgettable signature moves and elements such as the Specium Ray stance, the Shuwatch cry, and the Colour Timer.
In commemoration of the 55th anniversary of Singapore-Japan diplomatic relations and in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board, Ultraman will feature in Ultraman: A New Power of Singapore, a special series comprising three short episodes as part of the SingapoReimagine ULTRAMAN campaign. The campaign, in turn, is also part of a larger-scale project titled SJ55.

Do anyone know that if I have a layover in japan im going to have to quarantine? Or the pros was when my flight is from usa to japan (layover) to Thailand?
I'm also wondering if this would be specific to kung fu communities or if Chinese people bowed like this wherever bowing took place - e.g. bowing to people out of respect or in greeting, in a Zen (Chan) community, etc.
Thanks for any information you can provide!
