A list of puns related to "Infrasound"
But you... It's all in your head. So basically... It's sub 20 hertz vibrations, which can be cause by a number of things.. Water rushing through pipes, ceiling fans, highway traffic. It can also cause irritable bowel syndrome... so thats fun. So... Your eyes and ears all function using thinly stretched membranes, highly susceptible to vibration.. Visual and auditory hallucinations. Also, your brain is basically jello.. Highly susceptible to vibrations. Theres a very good explanation for why people see and hear things that may or may not be there... It's like taking aspirin for a knife in the head.
The two times I successfully had an out of body experience, I felt intense vibrations within my body.
Vibration seems to be key in having an OBE. Infrasound is sound we cannot normally hear below 20hz. Though you can definitely feel it. The body will begin to resonate to tones under 20hz. Theoretically you could stop somebody's heart with high enough decibels around 7hz! As the heart and most organs vibrate around 7hz. Now this is not what we're aiming for and you'd have to have very high decibels to be able to harm yourself. I think we should experiment with infrasound and the effect it has on being able to have an OBE.
Again, before going out of body, I feel my whole body vibrating intensely, and I can feel it even more so in my spine. I also hear a loud noise like a jet engine..Then it all seems to smooth out, everything goes still, and boom, floating out of body. Maybe we can trigger this vibratory state we have happening within us?
I'll be building up an infrasound speaker and I'll have it next to me while trying to perform an OBE. I'll try different frequencies starting at 20hz and go down from there.. and will let yall know at a later time if it works out.
Hey all,
I attended Astroworld Fest, and saw some people talking about certain frequencies played during it.
I heard the frequencies played out there throughout the whole performance, and was interested that other people heard this as well.
I have heard of the 15hz and 18.9 hz as our range is 200-20k hz, but what other frequencies are there that can instead of strike anxiety, but good feelings? Where can I research this more? I am just starting to get into my "elevating consciousness" stage of what is not taught to us purposely, but would love some insight.
Thanks!
I'm so desparate for anything else like this that I have taken to using two tabs with purte tone generators set for very low frequencies very close to eachother, and playing it under other ambient music. It feels like a brain massage to me and it's the only way I can get myself to focus on work sometimes. What else is out there that uses bass at the very bottom of the range of human hearing?
I think the theory of infrasound being unsettling is not 100% solid IIRC, but I had an interesting idea about potentially using it, if true. I play warhammer 40k and am very interested in adding extra outside-the-box elements to the units I create. I am currently working on a necron army, which for those who aren't familiar, is essentially an army of mechanical space Egyptian terminators that are unfathomably ancient and have access to technology so advanced that it blurs the line of magic and science. One of the vehicles of this army is called a monolith, and is a hovering pyramid that fires green lightning and contains a space-time portal that can teleport in friendly troops from solar systems away, or alternatively, suck in enemy combatants and teleport them into the unfriendly void of space.
This kind of model is a bit of a centerpiece of the tabletop army, so if I build one, I want to add an element to it that would make it truly unique and special. I intend to use a few tritium vials in the piece, but I still don't feel like that is enough, which allows me to circle back to my main question. I think it would be conceptionally really cool to have electronics inside the model that could create an infrasound frequency on command. Even if the sound wouldn't be actually unnerving to the opponent, I feel like the intention of the idea would be enough to satisfy me. Problem is, even though the monolith is a large model as far as warhammer 40k goes, it is still only 9x5.5x12in in dimension. Before I dig any deeper into the specifics of making this idea come to reality, I was wondering if it is even theoretically possible to fit a speaker in this kind of space that could produce infrasound, and if so, what about the electronics and power source to drive it?
I am fairly sure that this idea is impossible given the size constraints, but I simply had to ask you fine folks to be absolutely certain. If nothing else, knowing that this is an impossibility will allow me to move on to other ideas, even if it will make me a bit sad!
