A list of puns related to "Infant crying"
When I walked towards her crib, the sheets were stained with dried blood and a speaker was playing a looping audio file of my daughter crying.
Many Asian countries are filled with the folklore tales of spirits. Some are fiction that was born for pure entertainment, some claim to witness its pure form in real life and lived to tell the tale. Over time, the collection of these tales became so large that it has made a crossover between the fiction and the non-fiction that people became unaware of which one is fake...and which one...is real.
They said that it is unwise for one to try to seek out any one of these spirits just for the thrill of it, whether it is the made up version or those people claim to be real. It is not some cartoon happy spirits where the artists created them to be kind and helpful to others. All of the spirits described by the folklore tales are vengeful, evil, cunning, possessive, ruthless, strong, just overall bad to the bone. There are reasons why they became spirits roaming eternally on earth, unable to pass over to either the heaven or hell, and those reasons, should remain unknown.
No one can kill these spirits permanently. Those who claim they do only witnessed their death, but not their resurrection. They roam the earth until they are able to fulfill their desires, no matter how long it takes. But do not worry, although unkillable, most of the tales being told usually comes with a way to fend them off, or even defeat them temporarily, giving the unfortunate wanderer a chance to escape.
Why did I share a very descriptive preamble above? Because, my dear readers, I am one of those unfortunate wanderer who came face to face with one of the Asian's evil spirits and lived to tell the tale. I was taking a wilderness jungle tour across the countries in Southeast Asia and my last destination is the island of Pontianak in Indonesia where I accidentally stumbled upon the spirit the locals claim to be Kuntilanak. During my encounter, my luck came into fruition when I was rescued by a local resident who claim to be an expert in fending off spirits around the area, while I was stunned with what I just witnessed, not knowing what to do.
All of the countries in Southeast Asia is filled with beautiful wild floras and faunas. Located close to the equator, many of the wild floras and faunas are very similar from one country to another. Before my trip, I studied many of them, in case I stumble upon an interesting sightings, one that should not be disturbed, and when I am under attack. I am prepared for whatever comes my way, but I did not take into factor about their spirits. Throughou
... keep reading on reddit β‘I just hate it when she interferes while Iβm trying to soothe MY child. She comes running eager to snatch my baby from me, acting like my baby is begging for her. Where the hell did she get the idea that sheβs THAT important to my child in times like this.
I'm just about at the end of my rope here. My 4 month old constantly cries and whines. Unless asleep. As soon as she wakes up, she starts crying and whining. She continues to do so the entire time shes awake, with very brief moments where she is a normal infant. My wife seems to refuse to help out and just says she cant handle the crying at all. We can't get in to see the doctor because of Covid, so we cant see if theres something wrong that way, or get a referral to a pediatric doctor (there are none in my town) and the hospital is full of unvaccinated covid people right now so we can't take her to emergency.
What can I do? Nothing seems to help and I have no idea what resources are available to me to find out what to do. In Alberta Canada, not the US
When she did wake up, there was no more fire, no more child, no more crying, only her tears uncontrollably falling.
"Shh, shh, shhh" I say in her ear as I embrace her lifeless body..
As the title says... Mom made a social media rage post about how awwwful it is that people are commenting on her baby crying in the background during on online game session.
Itβs her privileged mommy attitude that got me. Saying how βthey cry sometimesβ acting like itβs no big deal and doesnβt interrupt gameplay for others. Also, they were just fishing for sympathy. One commenter made a PERFECTLY REASONABLE suggestion to warn their party ahead of time and mute or take a break when needed... mommy just snapped back with a βdonβt tell me what to doβ attitude. Okay, then donβt bitch on your -public- social media.
I play video games, so yeah itβs really irritating/distracting (and can cost you a game) if you are playing online and some idiot has some screaming child or barking dog. Like shut it up or play another time. They expect people to deal with their lifestyle, but donβt show others the same courtesy.
(This is a friend-of-a-friend so thatβs why I kept it somewhat vague)
Hey Dadβs hoping for some advice here. I have a 4 week old and every time he gets into his really heavy crying fits if Iβm holding him it sends me into uncontrollable rage. I am a coach/teacher by trade and training and work with some of the most difficult clientele in my industry. Iβm typically much more patient than the average bear. Iβve never experienced rage before this time in my life. What gives?
Any advice is appreciated
Hi! I have a soon to be 8 month old who has started whining/fake crying when we get her dressed/when she doesn't get to do what she wants. Is there any scientific studies on how best to respond to her whining, so as not to create a future behavioral problem? I don't know whether to ignore it, respond by comforting her, or what to do. Thanks :)
Theyβre just so damn cute! Iβm 33 weeks and the thought of something so adorable growing inside of me is just too much. Itβs making it difficult to get any online shopping accomplished!
We just got a new infant who's 14 month and has been coming to daycare for the last 4 week. Parents decided to transition her gradually like an hour, then 3 hours, etc. The child is here now in for full day. the other educator who was in the room and was close to her has quit. Therefore, we had some new educator in our room and she got close to them and wanted to be held up by them all day. The issue is even when I held her up she's crying constantly and is loud and is looking around for them. It makes me sad and worried that no matter what I do, I'm not able to make her stop from crying and I'm lost. I have tried songs, books, and toys and she just refuses to play with them.
I want to know what can I do to make her feel better and make transition easier. I really want to let her cry and reassure her every 5 minutes and not held her up all the time (unless until when really needed) just so that she doesn't get use to it and play more on the floor. However, I'm worried my supervisor will think I'm not acknowledging her and I'm ignoring her by letting her cry. Any advise will be helpful.
He seems fine now that he's calmed down, but I'm still worried about how hard I hit him. Do I need to take him to the hospital or should we just monitor him? He wasn't shaken or anything - I just put 2 sharp blows to his back. Mostly worried about the possibility of broken bones or something, though like I said, he seems fine. Playing like normal now.

As I heard the footsteps drawing closer, I knew it was her best option.
Obviously during the day there are visual cues, but what about over night while the parents are sleeping? Do they co-sleep to feel the baby's movements? Are there sound/cry activated lights or something that will turn on to alert the parents?
When she did wake up with dry tears on her face, she had seen that there was no fire, no child, and no crying; so she strapped her arm and prepared another syringe in the hope that she'll continue her dreaming.
