A list of puns related to "Grade separation"
So yesterday I had a nasty snowboarding fall and have atleast a grade 3 ac joint separation, essentially tore the ligaments at the joint.
Fucking sucks and wouldnβt wish this pain anyone, been researching bpc-157 for recovery and think it could really help. Where would you boys recommend buying it?
So before I start, MMR 100% has its flaws. Despite those flaws, I'm digging the new rank climb independent of 'skill assessment.'
Most of the 'pros' revolve around the fact that you don't drop grade anymore.
First, getting to a new rank means I can try for some of the more obnoxious Archives or builds without feeling like it's going to punish the crap out of me. If I'm @ 0 pips into a rank, it may be tanking my MMR, but I can't see that. Worst case, my next matches will be a little simpler. It's purely psychological, with the added bonus that @ season end, I'm not one pip away from an extra 50k BP on both killer and surv side, and wondering why I tried for an archive so hard or split my efforts, or didn't sweat just a bit more to get that pip.
I also always feel like I'm building- when I'm at 2-4 pips, I feel encouraged to rescue folks, do a gen or two, spread hooks and do chases- hopefully survive or 3k, but that isn't required to pip up- even with the MMR drop that a death or a 4 man escape has. Knowing when I clinch a new rank that it isn't going to go away is a decent feeling-even if it's only for the month.
While the Kills/Deaths/Escapes seems a bit basic for MMR, even knowing that the later you're killed the less your MMR drops is still somewhat reassuring. The suck of being dude number 3 to die because of NOED is padded out with the knowledge that the MMR drop is less. Same as killer and letting one guy hatch or even take the doors. Being dude No. 1 sucks pretty bad, but it's also easier to accept the mistakes as your own when you're the first out.
Anyways, despite the flaws that no doubt exist in how MMR is calculated, I like that playing for a mix of all styles at least rewards you with the consistent grade increase, and it's made it easier for me to tell a killer GG when they're running NOED and 2k because of it, or survs GG when they flashy-save the crap out of each other.
I get its purely psychological, and a 100kbp delta over a full month isn't that big- but it's nice in the moment, so I like that. /rant
Time to learn how to make a grade separation junction to keep train throughput up, I have over 25 of them on my main line....
I recently injured my shoulder in a cycling accident and am looking for physical therapy recommendations. Based on some previous threads it looks like Rose PT is a good place, but most threads are a few years old. Anyone have experience with Therapydia? A friend recommended them.
For context I suffered a grade 3 separation of my AC joint (grade 3 means I separated both the acromioclavicular and coracoclavicular joints). Any other cyclists suffer from and rehab a similar injury?
Been a month now that I separated my collarbone, I havenβt seen an orthopedic yet due to insurance problems. I was just wondering if anyone had the same experience and how it went for you? Whatβs life like with the bump after lol. Are you able to lift weights again? Are you able to ride without pain. Thank you in advance
26m 3 weeks ago I got into a mountain bike accident. I separated my right collarbone and I havenβt seen a orthopedic because I have straight medical. Iβm not sure at which angle the sling is suppose to be but recently this 3rd week Ive been feeling more than the last two weeks, itβll be brute pain and sometimes sharp pain. I need some tips please
