Why do I see mainly chevy/gmc 1/2 tons and mainly ford 3/4-1 tons as work trucks
This may just be my area but most of the trucks I see fit that mold. Are there dealer incentives I'm not aware of, or is it just that fords are more visually distinct between 1/2 to 3/4+?
My Dads truck. '11 GMC 1500 crew cab, denali. Pulling our boat with a 3 1/2 ton dry weight. We took it over a mountain pass and didn't even loose an inch. Everything is stock on the truck as well.

I'm not having any luck finding an M3 half track and a GMC 2 1/2 ton truck which don't cost piles of money because they are discontinued. I'm somewhat into table top sized dioramas and I can find pretty much everything but these 2.
The closest I can find is here, but the prices are too high for me plus international shipping.

We need a truck for work (occasional bulky item pick up) and lifestyle (pulling our tent trailer, camping). We've been going back and forth about whether to buy a new or used and have decided that new is better for us. We also have a baby and are planning on adding another, so need a big back seat for carseats.
Any pros/cons between F150/GMC Sierra/Chevy Silverado? 2020 vs 2021 models? Our budget is $50k CAD (~$40k USD) and I'd love to get a leather interior but from the searching I've been doing it looks like at least for the F150 we're definitely in cloth range...what's the bump up to leather likely to cost?
Sorry if these are super-noob questions and thanks in advance for any pointers you can throw my way. If car consultants were a thing, I would hire one.

Some basic questions about 5-ton 6x6 military trucks.
I realize this is a 4x4 forum, but considering the 6x6 one is fairly dead, I figured I'd try here.
I've been toying with the idea of getting a 2 1/2 ton or 5 ton truck for some time, but wanted to know a bit more about the maintenance/what to look for. Since they aren't normal vehicles, where would you take them to get serviced? I found one for sale that needs new differential bearings, for example. What expenses should I expect with something like that? Who do I go to to fix it? Etc.
Any advice is appreciated!
Gm 5.3 gmc sierra 1/2 ton low oil pressure
So on our gmc sierra 5.3 were having low oil pressure issues, we replaced the oil pressure sensor and its not low on oil

There's a rear main seal leak, could the rear main seal leak cause low oil pressure?

Could it be the pickup tube o ring?

Is the oil pump return valve stuck open and not allowing any pressure to build up?

Got my first 2 trucks this week. Hobao hyper mt plus 2 that kicks ass, and FMS atlas 6x6 to crawl the big ones! Suggestions welcome as I'm new to the sport.
