For me it has, I liked every song except for "Damage"

I've been waiting for a hip-hop/r&b focused album from EXO for the longest and Tempo was the best way they could do it. They focused on rap line for once and it fit them so well, but didn't forget their vocal line with that acapella cut.

My mom invited 22 of our family members to town for the holiday. She called me this morning and told me that her rental space was given to someone else. What this means, is that she didn’t bother trying to find a place to host this party until today. She then asked if I could get food for all of us through my restaurant. 22 people are coming tomorrow, and she put this on me today. She finished her series of texts saying she is going to rest because she doesn’t feel well, but you do not get to rest the day before you’ve offered to host an event that you haven’t planned. So when I called her to tell her she’d have to plan all of this, she didn’t answer.

I began to scramble and try to order food and find a space to rent and I was getting dizzy and dissociated and panicked and angry and I just decided, you know what? She invited these people and offered them food and a space to gather and she didn’t follow through and that is on her. I could easily have people to my place and order all of the food and entertain, but I’m tired of always picking up her slack, and cleaning up her mess, while my family turns a blind eye and deny her issues and invalidate my feelings or trauma. This always happens on holidays. She’d wolf down a bunch of stimulants and come up with these grand ideas and then she’d pass out and I’d be ordering Chinese food on Christmas Eve for my entire family.

I feel selfish. I could do this. It would trigger me and, I don’t even want my mom knowing where I live and I would have a total meltdown, but I could do it. But I’m not going to. I’ll let those 22 people finally be let down by her and I will let her take the blame because I refuse to fix it. I’m afraid that the blame will be put on me anyway, but I need to be strong enough to believe that none of this was my responsibility. But I can’t stop feeling stressed and scared and panicked and triggered.

Update 1: informed my brothers about the circumstance so that they could avoid traveling so far for nothing. Their response, “can’t you figure it out?” My response was “No. I’m not your mom, I didn’t plan this party, and I’m sick if you guys expecting me to clean up her mess all the time. I have more value than that.” They all decided to still come to town regardless of where this is happening.

Next question: do I even go?
