A list of puns related to "Conic section"
Sorry it's of 21 Pages, but I didn't want anyone to feel that they are not enough for advanced.

Mera straight lines concept strong hain per circles nehin aata. Kya conic sections kar sakta hoon?
Just like the title said, I'm looking for a proof that ellipses, parabolas and hyperbolas are conic sections but without using the spheres.
I proved it using analytic geometry and some algebraic manipulation and I wanted something to compare, yet the only proof I found is Dandelin's. How did the Greeks prove it anyway?
ok so like i already made something i suspect to do this, but my math teacher told me that it wouldn't make sense to use the pythagorean theorem to do that since that and conic sections are like something something idk she told me you couldn't do that, but i think you can right( i probably already did this)? idk
hii so i got this activity in pre calculus where i had to incorporate parabolas, ellipses, and circles in my animation yknow some conic section shits and make it 20-30 seconds.
idk how to put ellipses or circles to make my character move in the piecewise function, for parabolas i figured it out. but i rlly wanna put at least a few other conic section formulas in do you guys have any idea on how to do it? tysmmmm
Ax^2 +Bxy+Cy^2 +Dx+Ey+F~0
Doesn't work
I was given some equations and asked to determine whether they are a circle, ellipse or parabola. The first few were a breeze. Then they got much longer. See image below.
These look like either circles or ellipses to me, but I was never taught want to do with the extra variables (i.e. the 3x, 3y, and 2). How do I get this into a more standard form? I've been working on this for a couple days and can't seem to figure it out. Thank you.

I understand the importance of circles, parabolas, eclipses, etc. But why even mention they're from a cone? I tried searching up a reason but couldn't find anything (just stuff on why the SECTIONS are important, which I already knew).
Just feel like it's irrelavent to even mention they come from a cone. (almost like it's just trivia). Anyone can enlighten me?
Iβm an undergrad who has to take 2 semesters of calc, and Iβm struggling to figure out why those conics are so important
