A list of puns related to "Californication (song)"
Hey everyone! As the title says, I am looking songs that are similar to Savior from the album Californication. What I really like about the song is the part at around 1:20, where they have a little acoustic-(or e-)guitar solo that sounds really calm and chill. If any of you guys have any suggestions that sound like the part at 1:20, please let me know, thanks!
Iβm moving from Iran (where Iβve lived for all 19 years of my life) to Toronto in less than 2 weeks. The only song I found that I relate to is, weirdly, Californication (Red Hot Chili Peppers), even though itβs not related to moving away. It just captures the difference of culture and is pretty accurate to how I feel. I don't know how to explain it.
I'm not overtly sad or overtly happy about moving away. It's just curiosity about the new culture I'm moving into, and nostalgia about the culture I'm moving away from. Also, it's the first time in my life I'll live alone, let alone ~1000 km (6000 miles) away from home. So I have some nervousness as well as excitement about that.
Also, I'm in a relationship of 1 year, which will soon become long distance, but I don't know many songs about this either. Other than the obvious choice: Hey There Delilah! Which is actually quite good.
I would appreciate any suggestions that broadly relate to this, really. Most songs I find about moving away, don't fit how I feel at all. They're mostly too sad, in a pop-y way, if that makes sense.
Also about my music taste: I mostly like rock/alternative, especially 60's and 90's (weirdly). I like a lot of pop songs also, but not as much.
But I'm open to any recommendations (the more the merrier!) and would really appreciate it.
Edit: Thank you so much for this amount of replies! I'll try to reply to the ones I liked after I listen to these! (This doesnβt mean to stop recommending though, if anyone sees this later!)
First of all Dani California, the song just gave good hype for what's coming next, which was a bit low hype when started BSSM with The power of equality,Next Snow(Hey Oh),I don't have much explaination for this song since it's my fav song of all and the one which got me into this amazing band...Now Charlie, this boy is just wonderful it wasn't that big for me on beginning but the last 2 mins was lit with those great riffs and amazing mix up of instruments,Now the Title song Stadium Arcadium really shows the versatility in doing classic slow song,Slow cheetah tried the same but didn't stand much for me,not a bad one that song might grow on me,with evolution in tastes...Hump de Bump is just another definition of funk rock,it's fun and chill,I didn't like it much on first listen before few weeks, but it grew that funky taste in me, She's only 18 might become my top 3 favs cuz I love this type of rock songs, idky but it gives me Led Zeppelin,Greta Van Fleet vibe, which I really loves...I think Torture me is underrated compared to others according to last fm,this song of which is kinda mix of punk, rock, funk,a little jazz in a small part and is totally fucking awesome, lyrics weren't showing,I think song is kinda dark....No Strip my mind,it's slowing stripping my mind currently, slow, relaxing, amazing mix of instruments, great backing vocals...just an underrated masterpiece and another example of RHCP's versatility... Especially in Michigan, another one with epic guitar riffs and amazing Bass works by the best bass player as always, Anthony like always just nailed here too....This Funky chilling song called Warlocks is great piece is as its able to calm anyone easily.... C'mon girl,I love this song it has repetitive lines of calling her out and it's fast paced song, continuous guitar playing and the ending crazy riff makes the song more memorable...Another Slow paced song is Wet Sand ,which takes you from a slow beginning to another dimension,an absolute banger in the album, the song just get more impressive and fucking impressive seconds by seconds as in writing a live review,it just hitted me...next one the closing of first disc and it's perfect, slow ending with Keidis singing more heartfelt, backing vocals are impressive and finally comes the ending riff which is slow and calm afterward keidis ending the first disc of the album calmly

Besides Californication, also comes to my mind albuns like A Thousand Suns by Linkin Park and The Golden Age Of Grotesque by Marilyn Manson.
IMO itβs probably Californication
or Black Hole Sun.

In a garage/studio or wherever somewhere?
The title says it all. I am looking for a easy watching 30 minute dramedy (NOT SITCOM). I have tried Ballers, didn't like it. BoJack Horseman is on my watchlist. Any suggestions?
Some songs just mean more to the show than others. Which is most important?
You Canβt Always Get What You Want encapsulates what some of us consider canon. Itβs the first song we hear when the series starts and the final song of the last episode of season 4. Perfect
Rocketman, plays during that scene in s3:e12 Mia Culpa when Hank first tells Karen about the Mia affair. Also plays at the end of the series
Nothingman only appears once, but itβs a pretty important scene in Season two where they are flashing back to when Hank and Karen first realized they were with child
Warren Zevon songs are sprinkled throughout the entire series, and play a part in his book finishing ritual.
Feel free to discuss instrumentation, trivia, lyrics, or anything that relates to the song.

Its from the early 2000s or something and its a chill rock/reggae/hip hop type song with a sad tone. Sometimes played in movies and often on the alt & rock radio stations. It is driving me crazy!!
