A list of puns related to "Cable harness"
I'm hoping there's some tech-savvy folks here that can help me with this. The cables of the SSB FTS pumps are too short for my chiller/tank setup. I saw they have an extension kit but I can't get these in my country and would have to import them from somewhere. I'm hoping this is some standard power cord that I could order somewhere else. Does anyone know what type of cord this is?
Thanks!
Is it okay to just not use it or could it be doing something in the background? Iβve tested it with and without it plugged in and I donβt notice any differences.
Just picked up my car from the dealer today after getting a timing chain cover leak repaired under warranty. I noticed afterwards the damaged cable going to what I think is the crankshaft position sensor. I'm guessing they forgot to secure a clip before the test drive, allowing it to contact a hot part of the engine and melting through the insulation. Then they noticed afterwards, clipped it back in, and just left it like that. I'm pretty pissed because there's no way they didn't notice it. Luckily I have pics from before that show the cable in good condition so I can prove it was their fault (pics attached). So back to the dealer next week, but I'm not sure I can trust whatever splice repair job they hack together to hold up in the long run. Is it unreasonable for me to ask them to replace the cable/harness with a new one? I'm not sure how big of a job that would be if it's the whole harness. But I'm worried about electrical problems down the road so I don't want to settle for a few wraps of electrical tape. Especially since it sounds like if this sensor or wiring shorts out it could cause stalls, misfires, and engine damage. Really appreciate any advice, thanks!
