A list of puns related to "Brazilian Armed Forces"
Hello dear people of r/Brasil,
I am Nebojša, and I am a 17 y/o student from the Republic of Srpska (Province in Bosnia and Herzegovina). I come from a Military family, so my interest for everything Military related was huge, and a few months I started my own collection, with the final goal of having at least a single insignia from every Nation's Armed Forces'.
I've started my collection by writing emails to the Armed Forces' of the world, but I got a response from a very few nations, so my collection is currently really small. And my goal is to have at least a single insignia from as many nations possible.
I've sent a EMail to the Armed Forces in May and I haven't got a response. So I would like to ask you the people of r/Brasil if you are/have served in the Armed Forces and you have some spare insignias to contact me.
Best Regards,
Nebojša

(LUANDA) In a short statement in front of TV cameras on a visit to Angola state, President Enzo Maia reacted to the vetoing of two UNSC resolutions aimed at Alkebulan by China and the United Arab Republic.
"Diplomacy is finished. We attempted to gain multilateral support for intervention to prevent Alkebulan from harboring MPLA terrorists across the border."
"We will not discuss the issue further."
Dodgy in clarifying his threats, Mr. Maia said that Brazil would use its sovereign rights to defend itself and was drawing up a number of scenarios for which it will retaliate. Local reporters have noted considerable military activity across Angola state in addition to facilities in the Cape Republic being seemingly on alert.

Brazil and Iran have swapped military equipment designs in exchange for physical control over the province of Sistan and Baluchestan. Benefitting from Iran's desperation, Brazil will liberate the province as a means of protecting the religious and ethnic minorities in the province, keeping the war away from it and accelerating the end of the war.
Once on the ground, Brazil will work with local actors involved in governing the province, moving toward eventual independence. India's Navy will shadow the Brazilian convoy in order to prevent a surprise attack by a third party.
The Brazilian carrier NAe Tiradentes and cruiser C Lisboa will head a naval task force transporting the 2nd Amphibious Division of the Brazilian Marine Corps to Sistan and Baluchestan. Amphibious ships and chartered private ships will carry out sealift duties. The troops are to take over security at key transportation infrastructure and highways. Forward operating bases will be built in necessary locations to carry out the occupation.
Upon arrival, key community leaders will be engaged to form up some form of self-rule. Anti-Tehran nationalist groups will be allowed to participate and are expected to form the backbone of what may become an independence movement.
Follow on forces will be transported to the theater. Area command will be established in Chabahar. Chabahar Konarak Airport and Zahedan Airport will host Brazilian air bases.

Brazil and the Republic of Congo have agreed on a deal which will see ailing 89 year old President Nguesso step aside for an interim leader and elections will be held when security permits. The objective of the operation is to stop the genocide against the Boulangui/M'Boshi people, allow legitimate government security forces to guarantee safety for its citizenry, and pave the way for a government with support from the people to move forward with the country. Brazil has made it clear to its partners on the ground that it does not necessarily support their politics but must do so in the short term to allow the Congolese people to make their choice without bloodshed, hence the name of the operation "Humane Choice".
Phase 1 of Operation Humane Choice will be characterized by a rapid response which will make use of Brazilian Armed Forces personnel and assets permanently stationed in Africa, in neighboring Angola specifically. Aircraft will fly from Angola while an initial security detachment will touch down on the ground in Congo to create safe zones from which Brazil and the RoC military can operate from.
The opening weeks of the operation will see F-39E Gripens from Menongue AFB conduct recon via attached Litening pods while striking the rebels upon detection. There are twelve of the jets in the region already, with 2 C-390 operating from the same base to provide refueling in the air. They will fly off the coast of Angola, through Cabinda Province, and into the RoC. Permission to use airspace and permission to strike rebel targets in neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo are pending, separately. If given permission, jets will fly the shorter route through the DRC and bomb targets using it as a staging ground to attack the RoC.
Initial airstrikes will focus on the axis from Pointe Noire - Dolisie - Brazzaville to keep rebels away from the connecting highway and railroad.
Brazilian C-17 Strategic Transport Aircraft will play a key role in this phase, moving all but a single infantry battalion (15th Motorized Infantry Battalion) from the 7th Motor

(BUENOS AIRES) Officials at Embraer headquarters in São José dos Campos have long been signaling that they will look to devote their subsidiary Embraer Argentina, formerly Fábrica Argentina de Aviones before being bought out, toward projects that the main unit is not focused on.
Helibras, Airbus' local outfit, has long been the main producer of helicopters in Brazil. However, by the look of things, Embraer Argentina is being specialized to work on rotor and tilt wing aircraft. Although final assembly, high tech components, and avionics will continue to be built in Brazil, it was announced earlier today that Embraer Argentina will take the lead on building Karem V10R on license for the Brazilian military.
The lucrative contract looks to deliver dozens of the multirole tiltwing models over several years of production. Reports say the Brazilian Air Force will buy 48 UV10R Skua (utility variant), the Army 24 UV10R Skua and 60 AV10R Goshawk (attack variant), and the Navy 24 UV10R Skua and 24 SV10R for maritime operations. A request for 24 ST11C Fire Scout ASW drones will also be placed with Sierra.
Embraer intends to invest $1.5 billion in production facilities in Cordoba, Argentina, to boost capacity and modernize capabilities.
Meanwhile, Embraer is spending $350 million to expand the production line for the F-30X fighter jet, after receiving an order for 48 jets from Chile and 72 from Peru. SEMAN, an aerospace firm in Peru, is also listed as a subcontract to provide minor parts to the supply chain for the $10.56 billion deal.

Rio De Janeiro, January, 1920
Two years ago, several junior and senior officer corps were attached to French units assigned on the western front as part of the Brazilian contribution to the war effort. The objective of this deployment was to observe the evolving tactics and organisation on the modern battlefield. The experience has left quite an impression on the officers involved, and upon their return they have grown a greater awareness of the opaque deficiencies that plague the Brazilian Armed Forces. A group of reformers led by Captain José Pessoa Cavalcanti de Albuquerque have published an article titled "Necessidade de forças armadas de renovação" (Need for the renewal of the Armed Forces) which began circulating among newspapers in São Paulo and Rio de Janiero. Alongside details of extensive institutional reform, the reformists make the recommendation of adopting French military The article has attracted strong support, particularly among junior officers of the military, and before long the Armed Forces High Command had agreed to establish a committee in order to best advise the federal government on future military reforms.
The first proposal, received with strong support from both officers and politicians, is to invite the French to establish a Military Mission to advise and assist on the reform of organisational structures, officer training, military tactics, and equipment. The Brazilian government has since presented the proposal to the French consulate, and eagerly awaits a response.
So there has been a story going on on twitter since yesterday about a UFO that has been reportedly fallen or shot down in the city of Mage in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. To resume it, it appears there has been sightings of one of more UFO's since approximately 4pm of yesterday 12 May, and as the night fell down there was a sound like of a big explosion and military ground and air movement around the area of where resides a state owned industry of weapon material (Called IMBEL - Translated freely as Brazilian Military Material Industry).
This video is one of the ones that circulated twitter, but it gets constantly put down, meaning authorities are actively suppresing circulation of information regarding the fact, and probably threatened locals already.
The ones that are already circulating under the tag OVNI (which means UFO in portuguese) are the ones of the same luminous ball of light which this video shows. The only difference is in the incredible sharpness while zooming, which makes the flying object very clear and it is probably the reason why it is being targeted mainly amongst all the other ones. People report that the light moved and remained stationary at no apparent logical order, and also appeared to vanish and come back to sight frequently.
Again, nothing of this has been confirmed through official means (of course), except what multiple witnesses have been reporting on Twitter and between themselves through WhatsApp, showing their recording and what they know about it.

Overview
The splintering of the United States of America has caused an astronomic increase in the needs of the Brazilian Armed Forces -- all overnight.
In the absence of a formal defense agreement with the United States, it has long been the assumption of local and external entities alike that a military presence in South America would invite immediate and decisive American intervention. The possibility has not really been tested, a testament to that deterrence. Even an outsized economic and political relationship with the likes of the Soviet Union during its peak or China now has carried the implicit threat of deteriorated relations with the former sole super power.
Brazil's defense posture has traditional been reflective of several core tenants which may no longer apply to the challenge's of today. Besides the aforementioned American deterrence, the continent of yesterday remains for now relatively-unarmed from a conventional warfare perspective. Many nations do not possess a proper fleet of tanks, aircraft, and missiles -- instead utilizing their militaries mainly to combat non-state actors, crime and narcoterrorism. The ability of outside powers to upset the balance on the continent very easily with large-scale train and equip programs, using a local proxy nation to gain the power to dismantle the unity of Mercosur and affect our position as the leader of the continent, is worrisome.
Facing all of this is a Brazilian Armed Forces whose budget has understandable been cut to a minimum, thanks to a previously-limited threat scenario and repeated economic crisis prioritizing spending elsewhere. This report recommends immediate, albeit, affordable investment in the military in order to prevent the militarization of the continent and power struggle.
Threat Scenarios
Scenario 1: Invitation of Foreign Military Bases to Artificially Strengthen a Local Nation's Geopolitical Position
We believe Venezuela, perhaps inviting a Russian or Chinese base, to be a great danger in this regard
Scenario 2: Indebted Nations Bowing to an Outside Power in Exchange for Financing
Argentina, with its never-ending bailout needs and economic stagnation could potential cut a deal with China. Its leftist president Alberto Fernandez is in this sense an ideological threat as well.
*Scenario 3: The "Negotiable" Na

###Armed Forces White Paper 2022
[Brazil's armed forces] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_Armed_Forces) are the third largest in the Americas, after the United States and Colombia, and the largest in Latin America by the level of military equipment, with 318,480 active-duty troops and officers. As tensions continue to increase worldwide such as the warfare taking place in the former United States of America, Russian aggression towards Europe and with the instability of Venezuela right at our doorstep, the armed forces must be kept up to date in regards of doctrine and equipment, and Brazil must be capable of defending itself without relying on foreign powers.
Following the latest policy regarding military affairs, the Brazilian Ministry of Defense has published a White Paper to authorize the purchase and development of new equipment and technology, considering president Jair Bolsonaro' main goal to develop a defense industrial complex instead of continuously relying on foreign military assets, which have to be replaced over the years and end up being more costly on the long run.
Indigenous technology developed by national companies will be highly favored and invested on, but in view of the state of Brazilian defense companies, joint developments between allied nations may be required, using foreign schematics but adapting Brazilian technology into the assets, overseeing the entire development so that in the future, we may come to produce our own, without the need to rely on others.

##Brazilian Armed Forces Reorganization: Army
For years, the Brazilian Army has operated with a complicated region/military command structure, which used to be able to operate within the needs of the Federative Republic, however, times have changed. Brazil is threatened by several world powers, and some neighboring territories. It is clear that the current structure cannot provide the defense that the Brazilian territory nowadays requires. The Army is one of Brazil's most important branches, and it must have an effective structure to face foreign aggression, and defend the people of the Greater Brazilian State.
Along with a full reorganization of the Brazilian Army, the branch will be enlarged, so that it will have enough personnel to properly defend the extensive Brazilian borders. The new structure will be established in the following way:
##Military Commands
Previously, the Brazilian Armed Forces relied on military commands and regions to operate. These weren't organized or effective, and relied on each other to operate. The military commands will be reorganized into five different ones, each covering a region of Brazil. The military commands will count with two different types of armies to operate.
North Military Command: 2 Type A Armies
Northeast Military Command: 2 Type B Armies
Central Military Command: 2 Type A Armies
Southeast Military Command: 2 Type B Armies
Southern Military Command: 1 Type B Army
###Nine Armies
The Brazilian Army will count with nine armies, which will be provided with equipment enough to enable them to become self-sufficient, not relying on one another to carry on operations. These nine armies will be split between two types: One that will be focused on ground and air engagements, and another one which will too be focused on those, but aswell as naval engagements. Each army will count with 100,000 active duty troops. An army will consist of the following:
####Type A Armies
3 Infantry Combat Divisions; 7,000 each (21,000 total)
2 Jungle Combat Brigades; 8,000 each (16,000 total)
