My home resort of big sky has in recent years gotten a little full of themselves, the whole “biggest skiing in America” thing, from what I’ve seen, they’re trying to cater to the rest of the world. Really just leaving the locals behind, raising prices through the roof, really just going for a lux feel. I want to ask the ski bums and locals all around, how you feel about stuff like this, after all, the locals are what began it all. So, thoughts on this sort of behavior? Are you seeing it where your from? Is there any benefit? Thoughts on big sky? Is it really as big and great as they talk it up to be? Thanks!
My wife and I are thinking about doing a honeymoon ski trip to big sky resort in montana and then a day or 2 exploring nearby areas with Yellowstone as the focus. Does anyone have advice/experience for exploring Yellowstone in mid December? We are open to adventurous activities as well as low key options as well. Also suggestions on where to stay would be appreciated as we will possibly be taking our dog with us. Thanks in advance!

Got a 3 month Unlimited trial for $45 through an Amex offer and have been trying Mint Mobile throughout Montana. T-Mobile has expanded their network a lot in Montana and I wanted to see if it was decent. I used it during hunting season alongside my Verizon phone and didn't find anywhere that Mint didn't have service and Verizon did. I just had one more thing to test out before porting, and unfortunately the service failed with no service anywhere in the base area of Big Sky. Checked the coverage map and this is in fact the case for both T-Mobile and Mint (T-Mobile shows partner coverage). I can't believe all the random remote corners of this state I was able to get service, and yet T-Mobile, and by extension Mint, has no service in the base area of the state's biggest ski resort.
