A list of puns related to "2014 Fifa World Cup"
Argentina (Ohma) nearly beats the other favorite Netherlands (Wakatsuki) while in the other semi-finals, favorite Brazil (Agito) loses against the dark horse Germany (Kuroki). And in the finals it's basically the same depressing fight
That was an awesome game. Over 200 licensed national teams, all the stadiums for Brazil, and some great modes. Road to the World Cup (qualifying + World Cup), World Cup 2014 (just the World Cup finals), Captain Your Country (player career where you work your way up to becoming captain of your national team), Story of Qualifying (where you get to play out qualifying scenarios), Story of Finals (World Cup 2014 scenarios). Not to mention the fact that there was a radio show integrated into all the modes (except scenarios) where people would talk about how you were doing in the World Cup finals/qualifiers, as well as exchanging some general World Cup banter. I wish EA would bring back World Cup standalone games, rather than putting out a free update to an existing FIFA as they did in FIFA 18. If you get a new game, you have more to experiment with.
What's your opinion on FIFA World Cup 2014 and FIFA World Cup video games in general?

I'm watching highlights of the US road to qualifying for Brazil and it seems that everytime Diskerud took the field for the US he was a game changer. Scored against Russia in a friendly, set up Donovan for the goal against Mexico that qualified the US for the WC. He was always a net positive.
He didn't play at the WC (which I think was a mistake) and he took a downturn once he went to NYCFC. I feel people combine his time at NYCFC with the US and come to the conclusion he was a bad player but I think that's pretty short-sighted. I don't deny he certainly went on a downward slope post 2014, I just wonder about him sometimes.
bitter sweet for Messi.
