When I open my manscaped lawnmower to clean it, under the shaving head, there is a yellow shaft with white grease on it.
I wiped it off, not realizing so, and would like to reapply some. But what type is it? Any brand recommendations?

My friend came home to this today. The yellow stain underneath her door lock was not there this morning. When she put the key in the lock, it came out covered in what looks like black grease or oil, which you can see on her hand in the pictures.
For more info, she lives in a condo and this door is on the second floor hallway, so not outside. You need a code to access the interior of the building. Enough weird things have been going on in the building that I thought I'd post here to see what you all think. There are some VERY kooky neighbors. This is in NC.
UPDATE: SOLVED. And not nearly that exciting. It was indeed preventative maintenance. Another resident had a problem with their lock, so the property manager decided to lube them all. Can't say we're ecstatic about him deciding not to just shoot us all an email. Or clean up after himself.
