A list of puns related to "Whitefish"
I am looking to schedule a ski trip for either one of these locations. The group will consist of some novice to advanced skiers and snowboarders. We want the best location for trails, nightlife, and be able to rent a dope ski in/on property. We would be looking to schedule late Jan 23'. Where would be the best?!
My girlfriend just got into skiing last year and wants to try tree skiing but is anxious to try anything that is either too steep or has trees too tightly bunched together. Are there any blue runs with nice spaced out trees?
Planning on going for spring break, any suggestions?
Hey guys, Iβve been in MT for the past couple years but mainly stay around the great falls area, so I donβt have a ton of knowledge about where to take the kiddos in Kalispell/Whitefish area this time of the year. Iβve got 2 kiddos under 3, and donβt want to take them skiing. Any ideas? Thanks!
Iβd cross post to the location-specific subs but it seems like they donβt get a whole lot of attention there.
Our family is looking to take a trip to Whitefish MT via Calgary this summer. I know there are some clothing optional beaches in the Calgary and you might be able to go nude in Glacier NP if no one is around, but is there anyone here who has gone to Banff/Calgary/Glacier? What is your experience?
My wife is opposed to going to resorts (although I don't know of any that way anyway), but I might be able to convince her to go to a clothing optional beach or skinnydip somewhere. Maybe. Probably not, but we did on a previous trip at Secret Beach in Lake Tahoe - well, I went nude, anyway.
Has anyone here been to Banff/Calgary/Whitefish/Glacier? What's your experience been?

I am an advanced skier that will be visiting whitefish 2/5-2/13. I am interested in going off piste, but not essential.
Never been to the mountain before so it would be cool to meet someone that knows the area really well.
Jack Pandl's Whitefish Bay Inn 1978
Pandl's bacon dressing
2/4 pound bacon (6 to 7 strips)
1 tsp chicken soup base, optional
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 tsp white pepper
3 cups water
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup flour
Combine water, sugar, vinegar, salt, soup base and pepper. Heat to a boiling.
Chop bacon and brown. Skim out bacon and put into water mixture.
Fry onions in remaining bacon fat until soft, but not brown. Add flour; let bubble up to two to three minutes. Add this roux to hot water mixture.
Stir until smooth. Simmer five minutes. Serve hot over lettuce, green or wax beans or use as a sauce in German Potato Salad.
