I'm just beginning my graduate school adventure and the two most realistic candidates for me right now are University College Cork (Sociology MA) and Central European University (Nationalism Studies MA, Vienna campus). I have already received an offer to study for the upcoming academic year from UCC, and I should hear back from CEU this week. I am currently leaning towards CEU as the program appears to be more tailored towards my interests, but it is a close competition. For anyone who has either attended these schools or almost did, what was your experience like both inside and outside the classroom? Obviously COVID has messed things up in the last year but hopefully by September things will be under better control.
Hello, I've got a couple of years of experience in the mining/exploration industry under my belt in the USA Southwest and I'm looking to both further my education with a Masters degree and get out and see the world some more. I've looked a bit into this university's Msc/Mres programs (both 1 year course based and otherwise), does anyone here know what the quality of education/reputation/how well connected University College Cork's geo program is?
