A list of puns related to "Underpopulated"
Is it because of the climate or are other factors involved?
I play on console with cross play off so that might have something to do with it but almost every server I see has like 5 people or less, it confused me because I was under the impression that portal was extremely popular.
> Patagonia has wonderful summers and tolerable winters, amazing fresh water resources, lots of green, plenty of land, and it is just...gorgeous. So why does hardly anyone live there?
> Governance there is hardly perfect, but Chile and Argentina are hardly the worst governed countries on this planet.

Like Geriatrics. I feel like sometimes people focus on the BIG ones and forget about the other ones. They might find something they like in smaller or less βcoolβ specialties. Can you let us know what they are?
I guess it doesn't help that half the people in the city are probably either Habs or Leafs fans, but it still seems like we should have more people here. Winnipeg has at least a quarter million fewer people in it, but their sub has over 40% more subscribers. (Kraken are lower than us too obviously, but they haven't played a game yet.)
Just idle screening in Solitude the middle of the day and see NOBODY
EDIT: I've played since release day off and on and I've ALWAYS felt something was off about the world but could never figure it out. 10 years of meeting the same characters I finally figured it out. Even the major cities feel small and I never realized it. Now the vanilla game feels shallow to me goddamnit
It seems that we aren't the only Covenant community who has seen there numbers dwindle since launch. I think we all expected to be the underdogs, but it has become increasingly difficult to defend/attack territories on our server.
So - naturally - we began exploring our options. We created a new character on over 40 servers to see what the Covenant presence was like elsewhere, reached out to leadership, even invested the time to level up and monitor faction chat - in some cases. It became abundantly obvious that our server wasn't the only one experiencing these issues. In fact, we realized that we're one of the strongest Covenant presences on US-East. Before I go any further, let me just say - this is NOT a recruitment post for my company. We are seeking other Covenant entities - whether it be a group of friends, a whole company, or an entire Covenant community - to join us here on Pleroma-US East. We aren't far off from being a formidable presence on the server that is capable of pushing and defending Conflict states.
Our company acquired First Light on launch day and our ally purchased Weaver's the following day. We have held those territories since launch with 4 successful defenses. Marauder/Syndicate are essentially even in player count and are bouncing between 4-5 territories each as they continue to wage war. We have several competent leadership teams that spearhead the handful of active Covenant companies here, but we are simply outnumbered in terms of active players willing to participate in open world PvP - and even wars, in some cases. It seems that we are head and shoulders above the state of some other Covenant communities - which is why we are taking the time to reach out to communities who are in a similar position as us. Take the time to consider joining Pleroma with your free transfer - whether you come over as an entire organization or just as a solo player, there are several companies worth joining or coordinating with that will put you in the position to have fun and compete in both PvP and endgame PvE content.
Luckily, we have had a resurgence of Marauder and Syndicate transfers that have helped bring a second wind to the Covenant morale. We declared war on what could be our 3rd territory this afternoon and were a dozen or two players off of pushing a 4th. We're more coordinated than ever now and another sizeable group on our side could turn Pleroma into one of the few TRULY balanced servers.
Thank you for making it th
... keep reading on reddit β‘I'm not a hagiographer, just some instances I came across, about half of them before I started looking for those that I remember: Edward the Confessor, Constantine the Great, Olga of Kiev, Vladimir the Great, Martyrs Boris and Gleb (at least their killer is marked as a kinslayer), St Stephen.
And what really got my attention: St Andrew, y'know, the Apostle
P. S. History for Hungary title looks messy: it said it was destroyed in 1000, when in fact it was Mogyer confederation title that was destroyed then its history got copied. The next 2 kings, I'd argue, were Arpad through matrilineal marriages, not different dynasties. Also, Olga of Kiev was Norse (Rus) not Slavic (Russian). We already have Franconian and French, this shouldn't be confusing.
This might be a question relating to all of eastern Russia, but I focused on the more clearly similar ones. Primorsky Krai is at 12/km2 while Heilongjiang is at 70/km2. Why couldn't Russia develop these regions like China could? Did they ever attempt to encourage migrants from Asia?
Vietnam has mostly been smaller than Thailand in land area, but it seems to have a much higher population. From 1600 to 1900, the Vietnamese population doubled the Thai population.
During the 1600-1700s, the Kingdom of Ayutthaya was larger in land area than Dai Viet. Both nations sat on a river basin. Ayutthaya sat on the Chao Phraya River basin while Dai Viet sat on the Red River basin. The Chao Phraya River basin is also much larger than the Red River basin in area.
Despite the advantages, why does Vietnam always have a larger population than Thailand?
Iβm playing in the Adventureland town for the first time, and there are hardly any residents. Is this normal? I have the story progression mod.

It has 3.7people/km2 ranking at 137th in the world with just over 2 million population. Does it sometimes feel lonely or deserted?
Why do you think there aren't many people in Baltics? Do you think that someday our countries populations will exceed 5 million, or will it remain as it is (ir even decline).
Edit: and what do you think we need to do to raise our populations? (please, i am interested in normal answers, not "hue hue hue fu****g hue hue hue")
I'm tired of being stuck on an underpopulated realm with only a few (3) Mythic guilds all unsuitable for me, and unable to afford transferring my mains to a healthier realm.
We are all paying customers of this game that is both Buy-to-Play (Game+xPac) and Pay-to-Play (Sub), with a cosmetic shop. Players shouldn't need to pay large amounts of money for transfers or abandon their mains to level new characters if their server starts to fall apart.
I'm sure a lot of you feel the same way, and I ask that Blizzard seriously looks into acting on some of the options:
A: Get aggressive on the realm merging, make sure no servers are underpopulated. If access to low-pop servers are a demand among some players, let them have it, but allow all players who don't want to be there to easily move to a larger server.
B: Provide a montly free-of-charge transfer for subscription. In this way, anyone who can afford to play can afford to move their characters where they need them. (This probably shouldn't stack, at least not high, wouldn't want people hoarding them.)
C: Lower the price to something more reasonable, like $5. (It's pretty ridiculous that a simple transfer is more expensive than two months of gametime.) At this cost most people could get their main over to a better server.
If I were to endorse any of these options in particular, it would be A, as it improves the server situation overall for everyone. As for the other options, I know that abuse of transfers are a concern, but I plead to Blizzard that they find another way to limit it that doesn't harm players stuck on underpopulated realms.

Edit: I'm happy to see all this support, and I thank you for contributing with a lot of ideas. I wouldn't expect anything to happen around Legion launch, but I really hope a solution can be implemented some time during 2017.
Some estimates for North American populations include 2.1 million (Ubelaker, 1976), 7 million (Thornton, 1990), 18 million (Dobyns, 1983).
By comparison by 1000 AD, 182 million people lived in Asia, and by 1500 283 million.
Similarly, by 1000 AD, 40 million people lived in Europe, and by 1500 78 million people.
Is this simply a case of undercounting, due to the scant evidence available, or is there another explanation?
