A list of puns related to "Tumble Drier"
It's like there's a shopping list of things on my tongue but my brain isn't connected.
I remember my mother listing off all her siblings names before mine or my brothers, literally it took her 3 attempts before she correctly identified her own child's name.
That's what our landlord told us. We know that landlords are not obliged to provide them, but he told us that "the law has changed and you can't have them in the house because they are fire hazards". Is this true?
But it was worse when the attic was empty.
Hi everyone, I'm a student at Logan park high school. I am currently in the process of making a short film for my media studies class. One of the scene's in my film calls for a tumble drier with a clear door. The drier doesn't have to work it just has too look like it does. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one? Or be willing to give or lend one for the shoot? Thank you for your time :)
Diagnosed the issues (tumble was a burnt out heating element, vacuum was a severed wiring loom connecting the brush head), sourced replacement parts online for a total of Β£30 and fitted them (in the case of the vacuum with much difficulty) myself without any help other than referring to some online forums! Felt so good to know I've been able to renew these appliances for minimal cost - the call out to fix the tumble dryer alone would have been Β£100, and that's excluding parts or labour! Will be attempting to fix everything (within reason) myself from now on βΊοΈ
As the title says, if you wear glasses and doing the laundry. Simply open the drier door and out your face near it, if they steam up AT ALL, then your clothes are still wet.
Hi I have a Hoover vented tumble dryer model vhv680c-80 It stopped mid cycle and all power was lost (no lights either). Have tested the fuse in the plug and all good there and have also checked the thermal cut outs (although that wouldnβt explain total loss of power) and theyβre ok. Can anyone recommend anything else I should look at before calling someone in/ buying a mew machine! Thanks in advance.
As title says, I don't own a drier but after a few washes even brand new towels are rough. I don't use fabric softener because I've heard this actually is bad for towels?
Any advice appreciated.
So I've been trying to air dry my clothes instead of tumble drying to save on utilities. I live in the north of England and it's cold atm, so stuff often takes a couple days to dry.
Yesterday, I didn't have time to hang everything up properly and had to leave urgently, so I piled my washing on the drying rack and just spread it out a bit (none of it was lying flat at all, there was a lot of overlapping). I then turned on my dehumidifier right beneath it. When I returned about 18 hours later, all my stuff was dry.
My question is, does leaving the dehumidifier on that long cost more that doing a two hour tumble dry?
Okay So I have a very young son and as a part of their development you are suppose to talk them through what you are doing to help them learn processes. While doing laundry I went to try and explain how a tumble drier works when I found myself in quite the conundrum. I mentioned how it heats up the water and then blows it outside the house as steam but then remembers a comment Nate made here about how the internal temperature of the drier was only about 150 or 170 degrees Farenheit. But the boiling point of water is 212F so I realized something didnt make sense.
So long story short I was curious if TKOR could do some science in the drier by taking many different clothes articles soaked in liquids of different boiling temperatures and test which ones will and wont dry in the drier. Perhaps also looking at what the temperature on clothing items in in comparison to the air temp to see how much of a difference there is. Also perhaps see just how hot an clothing items can get when taking to the extreme at highest heat and longest time. Just a few ideas of stuff to do with drier. I'm sure there are more that others can come up with.

Occasionally it will stop the drying cycle, and start beeping with F 066 on the LCD panel.
Even just opening the door and closing it again, will allow it to continue, and usually the error doesn't appear again.
I had the error appear once after 3 months, and then nothing more until this week where Ive had it three more times. The dryer is only 6 months old.
Does anyone know what error code means?
Ruining. It's RUINING my lazy day.
I generate so much of it it feels wasteful to put it in the bin
Often, clothes dried in a tumble drier get a certain smell, as opposed to the clothes dried in the air which retain their nice smell from the conditioner/detergent. Is it possible to avoid/mitigate this issue?
I've emptied the filter and I've taken out the condenser and rinsed that thoroughly with water but the filter light still seems to be on. Just wondering if I'm missing anything completely obvious? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
