If a rapidly rotating storm was to hit the Midwest would it be called a tropical cyclone, typhoon, or a hurricane?
So I know those types of storms aren’t common in the Midwest however anything is possible and so I’d still like to know what the proper term for a hurricane would be in the Midwest region, tropical cyclone, typhoon, or just hurricane?
