Ok so I was born and raised in Texas (and still sadly live here) it’s just that I HATE somethings the stereotypical Texan “loves” Texas loves Republicans and there’s a shit ton of them here Iam a democrat, texans are shown to love and worship not only Jesus but country music I can’t stand Jesus freaks who judge literally anybody that’s just simply living and existing and outside a very rare and few exceptions I absolutely HATE country music, Texans LOVE football players and jock athletes but mostly football and I just can’t stand football in my opinion it’s just stupid you get a ball and run into a bigger guy and or get creamed and injured yeah there’s more to it then that but I’ve seen the cowboys do the same stupid plays YEAR after YEAR and expecting it to work but fail and they act shocked when it fails TRY A NEW PLAY IDIOTS ! Also FUCK THE HEAT ! we have like two or three summers and literally no fall or winter also “don’t mess with Texas” is freak’n stupid Iam not sorry but acting like Texas the literal ground will come alive and kick your ass if you litter a candy bar wrapper is just stupid and laughable and yes this is how people act about it when it first came out and all of the commercials were pitched the exact same way. Also people with Texas pride WHY ? Texas is red and a lot of Texans voted for easily one of the worst presidents in US history, also Texas is filled with racist, bigots, homophobic people who just suck and think they are better then literally everyone else simply just for living in Texas I am not lying or exaggerating for affect.

Hey there, It seems to be I’m a big fan of country music from Texas. I’m noticing a trend where I favour a lot of bands from that state. I currently listen to a lot of midland and mike and the moonpies, with some other artists from texas. I think they do it the best tbh. I was just wondering if there are any other good artists/groups I’m missing out on from there. I also realize that I listen to a lot of neotraditional country so any good neotraditional artist recommendations would be appreciated!
