[Compounds] Synthetic vs natural AI for long term use in hypogonadal men on Trt, short term use during cycles and injection frequency effects on estradiol.

I have been doing some research on AI for long term use, since there is lots of controversy when it comes to adding them to a trt regimen.

Usually, if dialed in correctly the use of an AI is not implemented that often, since keeping a steady serum testosterone level that is not supraphysiological will not lead to increased aromatization - thou there are exceptions. Those exceptions are the reason I'm writing this. My Nr. 1 priority for my clients is keeping them healthy. I'm not their mother. If they, want to take steroids it is my job to keep them healthy, inform them and work together with their doctor to see that they (the clients) don't fuck up. If they need to take steroids for trt, then even more so.

If you notice any mistakes or misinterpretation of information on my side, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm not a pharmacologist and English is not my first language.

I will preface this by saying that this is in no way, shape or form medical advice. Also that I concluded that natural agents, while many are beeing researched, are very likely only going to work for trt doses of testosterone and not for full on cycles, since dosage will play a segnificant role in how much AI is needed to stay away from estrogen related side effects. Dosage frequency can also play a big role in that matter. With that said, let's dive in:

Aromatase is a cytochrome P450 enzyme and is responsible for catalyzing the biosynthesis of estrogens (estrone and estradiol) from androgens (androstenedione and testosterone). The aromatase enzyme is encoded by the aromatase gene CYP19 for which the expression is regulated by tissue-specific promoters, implying that aromatase expression is regulated differently in various tissues.

An AI works by blocking the action of the aromatase enzyme, which is responsible for the conversion of testosterone into estrogen. Increased levels of testosterone through TRT will normally raise estrogen levels. And this is not necessarily a bad thing.

Aromatase inhibitors can be classified as either steroidal or nonsteroidal. Steroidal AIs (also known as Type I inhibitors) include competitive inhibitors and irreversible inhibitors, which covalently bind aromatase, producing enzyme inactivation. Nonsteroidal AIs (Type II inhibitors) reversibly bind the enzyme through interaction of a heteroatom on the inhibitor with the aromatase heme iron.

Three third-generation AIs are currently in clinical use, namely, anastrozole, letrozole, and exeme

A mild yet satisfying journey into mixing 2 synthetic psilocin compounds

Last night I ended up taking 20 mg of 4-HO-MiPT than about 2 hours later I took 20 mg 4-AcO-DMT. The peak of of the 4-AcO-DMT came up fast and I felt almost like the body high of DMT and had some pretty DMT like CEVs alongside mild OEVs that lasted about an hour and half and than came down into a body high and some CEVs. At that time I smoked 20-25 mg DMT and had nice euphoric release that wasn't that challenging. About an hour later I felt sleepy and fell asleep I woke up feeling fine today.

The 4HO-MiPT was pretty warm and felt like being hugged by warm water. The headapace was pleasant and and shimmery. I didn't get a lot of visuals off the 20 mg alone until during the peak when I took the 20 mg 4-ACO-DMT. The 4-AcO-DMT came up within like 20 minutes and peaked in under 40 minutes. I did do a lemon tech with it though.

The peak mix of 4-AcO-DMT with what was left of the 4-HO-MiPT peak became super euphoric similar to DMT but it's own feeling. There were also shapes and colors beyond the 5th dimension with eyes closed. I even had some OEVs that looked like neon colored lines and bead work flowing on surfaces. The visual peak lasted about an hour and a half to 2 hours and faded into more chill CEVs with a jelloy less euphoric yet pleasant body high.

After about an hour the CEVs were gone and the jelloy body high just remained. At that point I did the small mid range dab of DMT at 20-25mg. I had some vivid beautiful CEVs but nothing OEV. I also felt very warm and relaxed. When the DMT came down about 15 min later I felt sleepy and just chilled listening to music. About an hour later I was asleep.

Idea: Using CRISPR and knockout genetic engineerin, it might be possible to make crazy amounts of food using the right combinations of bacteria. Even novel designer food compounds. Novel synthetic flavorings. Discuss?

Im sure someone else has already thought of this, but Imagine say for a future space colony, or a heavily overpopulated world. Using big vats.

Step 1: Start with a mix of chemoautotrophic species of archaea in a warm bath of raw ammonia, salts, and methane. Crispr edited nuclei are inserted to make the mix of compounds we want. Feed them sulphur to make them populate and produce essential amino acids, fats, hormones and vitamins, all those goodies.

Step 2: Slowly siphon off the hydrogen sulfide and wean off the sulfur while introducing oxygen to kill of the archaea, while introducing oxygen breathing zoophytes. These can make more eukaryote hormones and complex proteins, essential aminos, vitamins, even flavor compunds.

Step 3: kill off these bacteria with heat or cutting off oxygen boom.

You can stick the genes in to different strains of bacteria to make different things. could even use this to make even flavor compounds. One batch could be used to make pure table sugar, another to make olive oil.

Any genes could be inserted, plant, animal. And people could invent novel, unheard of foods and compounds with unique flavors that dont appear in nature. Both for flavor, or ever hyper nutrient-rich foods.

And of course most importantly this method could be used to introduce more inorganic matter into the ecosystem. Either on earth, or maybe even one day an extra-terrestrial biome.

Why doesn't someone make synthetic compounds or synthetic equivalents of highly poached endangered animals? For profit or non-profit.

I understand some animals go extinct due to ecological disasters like cutting down trees or strip mining. I am not trying to make an arguement on way or another on that sort of thing.

I just wonder why from an economist/entrepreneur perspective why people haven't tried to capitalize on the demand or from a activists perspective why they haven't made alternatives.

Most people are fairly happy eating fake vanilla. They think the vanilla they are eating is from the bean but in reality it was manufactures synthetically and frankly most people are non-the-wiser thier entire life.

In many faux-food situations the actual chemical used is identical or near identical to its natural alternative. Which is argueably good for economic purposes or the consumer who might pay somewhat less for the "fake" product. I mean I know Skittles are almost completely fake (if not completely) but I still think they are awesome. In fact I prefer fake strawberry flavor to real strawberries so I'm not intrinsically against fake flavors. Also I like fake banana candies so diabetes issues for humanity aside its pretty interesting.

So take elephants: why can't we just make fact ivory for ivory jewelery or for natural medicine? I mean everything around us is simply chemicals. Why not make chemically equivalent substances? I know some might argue the medicinal properties are bunk nonsense but thats not the point: enough people want to buy this stuff.

We could make fake rhino horns, elephant tusks, or I dunno Tiger bones (don't know if thats a thing - just making up crazy stuff). From a dispassionate perspective this would be a huge industry - tons of cash to be made. From a ethical ecological perspective it could save animals lives if you flood the market. You could even put poachers out of business by destroying thier industry through what would normally be considered unethical or illegal business practices that are used to protect legitimate industries.

But even if you don't give two craps about rhino you could still make a killing.

So why hasn't this occured?

Nootropics are natural and synthetic compounds

Nootropics are natural and synthetic compounds that facilitate cerebral circulation, memory retention, and enhanced concentration. They are sometimes called "smart drugs." The story of nootropics began with Dr. Corneliu E. Giurgea, the recognized father of cognitive pharmacology. In 1964, Dr. Giurgea synthesized piracetam, the world's first nootropic. It is a derivative of the neurotransmitter GABA and has purportedly shown clinical efficacy in treating neurocognitive disorders such as Alzheimer's. At present, the FDA does not recognize the racetam group of synthetic compounds as federally controlled substances. This means that piracetam is not a legally recognized drug. However, there are studies proving its efficacy.

In 1977, a double-blind study found that piracetam improved geriatric memory over a two-month period. Meanwhile, a recent 2013 study indicated that piracetam was key in improving the short-term cognitive performance of patients undergoing coronary bypass surgery. Still another study in 2016 showed that piracetam improved mitochondrial function, a key strategy in treating early-stage cognitive decline. Considering this, the question begs to be asked: How do consumers recognize a true nootropic from a counterfeit one? To guide us, Dr. Giurgea released his definition of a beneficial nootropic: A true nootropic must enhance learning and memory ability. It should provide neurological protection against oxidative damage. It should decrease cortical and subcortical dysfunction. It should aid the brain in retaining learned behaviors and memory functions under disruptive conditions.

Are Nootropics Safe? Many consumers question the safety of these supplements. So, are nootropics safe? It depends. Although nootropics are generally derived from synthetic ingredients, some herbs can also be classified as nootropic in nature. Such herbs include ginseng, ashwagandha, schisandra, gotu kola, rosemary, sage, calamus, and bacopa. It's imperative that consumers do thorough research before including nootropics in their diet. On the other hand, nootropic supplements like Modafinil have been on the US market since 1998; it can be obtained through a doctor's prescription. One study showed that Modafinil increased the cognitive performance of helicopter pilots who had been awake for two 40-hour periods. It's no secret that Modafinil is popularly known as the Limitless drug (based off the 2011 Limitless Movie).
