I often see Apple Watch and iPhone tips posted online, and usually they are regurgitations of one another. I’ve not seen anyone post about this recently.
If you double click the Digital Crown, you can quickly switch between your two most recently opened apps.
I use this frequently at the gym while tracking a workout on my watch. I leave the workout screen, open Spotify to choose a new playlist, then double click the Digital Crown to immediately go back to the workout screen. Hope this helps!
First off, not sure how I missed this sub but glad I found you good people.
I’ve been back and forth over the years between software and hardware switchers for different jobs I do and want to wade in a bit on the ‘ol religious war of software versus hardware.
Basically looking for a more robust small productions switcher. Loved the reliability of the Carbonite solo and the flexibility of Wirecast, but want a solution with 3 M/Es and 8ish aux’s.
I am looking at jumping to the 3 M/E carbonite as one option but it’s obviously just a switcher. And while I have stayed away from Tricaster in the past due to cost, complexity and reliability concerns, dammit if their mini 4K and TC410 don’t make a compelling case for its flexibility and power inside that box.
Anybody use both and have any good anecdotal experience on reliability and complexity of the Tricaster?
I’m looking at how far from typical hardware reliability you think these Tricasters are these days. Anybody used a Tricaster for more than 4 years without any software issues that effected the show? I figure that’s about all I can expect from either hardware or software.

Ok this post may be rather controversial but F it I'm kind of curious as to what people are thinking when they stack a team.
IMO Team stacking takes the fun out of the game for me and is a genuine problem with the game ATM.
This is more curiosity rather than condemnation.

Mr Echo is good condition, no box, fun as hell but I just have too many delays. Fernweh is mint, just received it a week ago. I like it a lot but, again, too many delays and I haven’t taken the time to really dial it in the way I ought to. Includes box and goodies. Mjolnir is excellent condition w box and goodies, a pseudo-feeler but I think I wanna try a different OD. Interested in other Klones, Nobels, whatever else but not a Tubescreamer guy. No box for the Julianna but in excellent condition. Thanks!

After that, regardless of whatever team you are on, you receive the rewards from the result of your original team.
Swap from losing to winning? You are rewarded as losing team.
Swap from winning to losing? You’re rewarded for winning.
If you’re auto balanced? Then as compensation for your inconvenience , regardless of result, you’re rewarded as winning.

I have been trying Manjaro Gnome and it has this amazing functionality to Switch the entire look of the desktop with just 1 click. I tried to find something similar in the settings in KDE Neon or in google but I didn't find anything and I think this would be a great addition to KDE.
I know someone experienced can get the desktop looking like any of those layouts in a couple of minutes, and that's great, but I think this would be really useful for new comers that struggle tinkering with the panel (I struggled a lot to understand the concept when I came from Ubuntu, and it took me a while to get the desktop I wanted).
Any thoughts?

I work for a live events company who are slowly expanding they're video "departement". We're looking to add a switcher to our rental stock to handle our gala events, small conferences etc. Basic needs are: minimum 3 inputs (preference for HDMI), able to mix to 2 independant outputs (3 would be great), a decente preview handling system, and PIP capacity would be nice.
If it can work with a wide range of input formats with frame rate conversion etc it would make our lives easier.
Products used before: Roland V-1HD (too basic), Black Magic ATEM Mini (Ok but packaged way smaller than we want), Roland VR-50HD (probably overkill for our needs).
I've been recommended the Roland V8HD, and was hoping for some advice from you guys about this product as well as any other recommendations?

I switch team to balance but when they lose they switch back to my team or just stay in spectator mode

Writing has always been a passion of mine, I’ve always loved putting my scrambled thoughts onto “paper”. A short while back I started blogging about things I found interesting or (thought) provoking, and want to start podcasting in the future.
Currently I’m a social worker, and I’m burned out and bored out of my mind with this job for the past 4 years. And I’m just 27.
What is the best approach to go about getting into journalism, copywriting or some other kind of writing job? Should I go for a short (1/2 year) degree, or should I wing it and trust my portfolio? I’m from the Netherlands, my writing has always been in English, might make it harder for just trusting my portfolio? I’m not too sure about that.
Any more information about the different fields would be welcome as well, as you probably speak from experience and not some random blogger copying and pasting job descriptions for the internet.
