A list of puns related to "Sweet Gum"
Let's assess this. They're:
That means you're getting a lot of long lasting flavor for fewer calories than if you were eating something like a gummy bear! So you can basically have one in your mouth at all times without feeling too guilty.

I installed My Sweet Cataclysm without knowing about gum spiders, is there a way to reduce their spawn rate via editing the json files in the mod? I can see you can edit the hp of the spiders and the speed, but not the spawn rate. One of them spawned inside of my death mobile while I was crafting. (Or passed through walls?)
I have a character that is great, don't want to reinstall and deleting a mod creates issue. Any advice?
Gums is the most handsome monster in the MA
Just finished this crosscut stump coffee table. This was an old sweet gum I removed from my yard last year. I cut this piece from the stump right at ground level, planed it down using a homemade router sled to about 1 1/4 in thick, finished it with Danish oil and added COTS hairpin legs.

EDIT: This is definitely a Japanese Maple as pointed out in the comments. Thanks for the correction! I really like the tree and didn't want to remove it, and now there's no need to be worried. I'll be keeping it where it is and look into how to prune and control it a bit.
Thanks!

I bought a house that has largely been overtaken by sweet gums. Most are either small enough that they should obviously go, some are fully matured and aren't stifling other growth.
And then some are in the middle, or are in potentially precarious spots like this one. It is an interesting tree, but it is growing less than 3ft from the house between the foundation and the entrance sidewalk. Am I correct in thinking this tree needs to go due to the potential of root damage to the house, and branch damage later in life?
Hello fellow builders. A buddy of mine and I have been beating around the idea of building a barn out of sweet gum. We live in SE TN and have a HUGE supply of them.
Other than bug intrusion (which is horrible with sweet gum) and warping boards, is there any other reason not to? Itβs going to be primarily 8x8 beams for 12ft bents and 3x6βs for the floor with a loft for extra storage. The total area will be 24 ft x 24 ft.
