A list of puns related to "Supergrass"
Not sure how many people remember this band, they were pretty big in the UK in the mid 90βs with singles like Caught by the Fuzz, Alright and Pumping On Your Stereo. Their first two albums generated a lot of buzz but their third album was a bit of a commercial flop although it still charted one single.
The band went from a mix of youthful pop-punk and energetic psychedelia, into a more diverse power-pop sound as they matured, which just wasnβt as trendy in the mid-2000βs. Regardless, their later albums are just as excellent as their early albums.
Their third eponymous album Supergrass is more of the psychedelia offered on their sophomore album In it for the Money. It is perhaps less consistently great and suffered in its time from the expectations for the bandβs follow-up being so high, but taken on its own it is still a fantastic record.
After a hiatus of about 3 years, they released Life on Other Planets which is jam packed with unique ideas, catchy hooks and infectious grooves. This is probably the best album in their discography even though it was somewhat overlooked.
This was followed by Road to Rouen, which is slightly darker and more mature in tone, but still has great psychedelic grooves and memorable hooks.
The bandβs final album, Diamond Hoo Ha, doesnβt really match the quality of their previous records, but it is an interesting love letter to classic rock and it still has a couple of great tunes on it.
What's really interesting to me is how I have no real context or understanding for how this band's music was being received at their peak. I only caught onto the band's entire discography all at once, just before Diamond Hoo Ha released in 2008. Also, I am not from the UK and I don't think they ever broke into the US scene in a major way. Does anyone remember Supergrass at their prime and what the buzz around the band was like, and also how they were perceived when they began to drop off? It really seems insane to me that an album as good as their self-titled would be their slump album.

User Background:
Leny Coco was a Vietnamese kid born some years before the start of the Vietnam War. His parents always told him to never commit the same mistake twice. He lived his life through this philosophy, always learning from his shortcomings and improving for the better. Of course, there are some mistakes you cannot afford to commit even once, and that moment came when Lenyβs best friend was drafted into the War. Leny knew his friend was unfit for fighting and would just end up dead, but he convinced himself that nothing bad would happen. The war would be over soon, and they would meet again. However, months passed without his friend returning, until a letter came in the mail.
Distraught by the notice, Leny took his parentβs advice one last time and offered himself to go into the next squad sent into the deep jungle. From there, he fought valiantly, determined to not let another innocent life go to waste. However, one night, during an ambush, he and some of his squad mates were ambushed by enemy forces and led into the Manβs Heartβs Grave, where they perished.
About Him:
Leny Coco was one of those kids everyone could rely on, the leader of his friend group. He wasnβt strict with his friends, but he tolerated no disrespect from them either. This translated well into his role in the war, where he was assigned as tactician and scout, using his great intelligence to rise above the enemy. From the bottom of his heart, Leny was a kind soul who would take punishment for himself if he knew that innocents would be spared.
Appearance:
γSupergrassγ is a colony stand comprised of what appear to be pastel pink shoots of bamboo, complete with completely circular leaves at the top, similar to radio antennas. They are usually small, no more than 10 cm tall and 3 cm wide. Throughout their longest side, every unit of γSupergrassγ has a spiraling transparent fissure, allowing someone to see inside it. On the top of the shoot, the letters βOKβ can be read in a deeper pink.
Ability: Joined Together Immediately
When an object is cut or harmed in any way, Leny can place a shoot of γSupergrassγ on the damaged part. From this point, a small tube of bamboo-like growths will sprout from the seed, attached solid to the place of the damage. From this point, the unit of γSupergrassγ will absorb any more damage done to it, and manifest it as a deep pink liquid on the inside. As a unit receives more damage, it gets more a
