It’s the same thing as now. This sub was so mad about “aNoThEr fUsiOn oH My gOd” but then as soon as those animations dropped, no one said a thing anymore. The entire sub as hype as hell, and now Str vegito is one of the most beloved units in dokkan history.
The same thing will happen again if the units are fusions. So, you might as well just stop complaining now, because we all know you’re going to summon and you’re going to be hype as hell doing it.

In those difficult stages you'd be using an item anyway as hardly any units can tank a Final Flash from SSBE at all. Vegito's insane damage output easily justifies item usage in these scenarios.

He has one of the most broken abilities in the game (SA reveal), in fact this can't even be disabled yet. Unless a boss is locking rotations, the only way Vegito gets hit by a SA is if you want him to LMFAO

He's pretty good in all events, but more importantly trying to write off a unit based on their performance in a single event is kind of small minded
Whatever point they bring up, simply ask them to name a unit who supposedly fills the role that Vegito can't and whoever they name won't have all of the following:
- his damage output
- his SA reveal reset trick (in base)
- his actual SA reveal (as Vegito),
- leader skill as good as his
- his damage reduction (in base)
- counters
- link buddies as good
- potential team members as good
Use this in combination with the above points for maximum effectiveness.
If they insult you or ignore your points it means you win - as they didn't have any meaningful counter argument.

So Austin City Code won't enforce the STR ordinance on absentee property owners, a fact that some (many?) cynical STR operators are using to promote a twisted interpretation of the ordinance. They think that City Code's unwillingness to enforce equals their non-owner-occupied operations being legal ... and they claim that owner-occupied STR license holders can move away and live in Florida, California, or wherever and continue to legally operate "owner-occupied" licenses in Austin.
But, of course, if I drive by a cop in a 70 mph zone going 78 mph and he doesn't ticket me, that doesn't mean that the speed limit is now 78 mph. It just means it wasn't enforced. Same situation with these Airbnb's that are licensed for owner-occupied only but the owner lives in Chicago.
I had some really rotten neighbors pull an STR license right before they moved out of state. They never intended to AirBnb their place while they lived here but only after they moved. I'm just not gonna let this happen without making a statement. And I hope that more people will do so.
I don't know how my statement will wind up. The neighbor's Airbnb host, who has already threatened litigation, called me yesterday and yelled "you're disgusting, you're disgusting" and "we're going to do everything we can to make your life miserable". Then, to go further, he decided to threaten my dogs and alleged that I am "unstable" and that he has evidence that I am "unmedicated". This guy hosts 12 Airbnbs, and I'll bet most of them are illegal.
I had to hang up because he wouldn't stop yelling crazy things. After calling and making those threats, this buffoon sent me an e-mail saying "we feel very threatened by you and you continue to show instability." As if I was the one making threats.
Anyway, something has got to be done here to get the ordinance enforced the way City Council intended (no new non-owner-occupied units). Buffoon guy sees me as a threat to his business. The more people we create like buffoon guy whose livelihoods are linked to this kind of Airbnb, which drives up home prices and reduces available home stock (not to mention creates neighborhoods that are emptied out by STRs), the harder it is going to become to protect neighborhoods from predatory investors in the future.

... keep reading on reddit ➡The primary things I've read that STR helps with are: bulky weapons (which are a joke because stabilizers are very inexpensive), carrying capacity, and a small boost to melee combat.
These all seem to pale in comparison to what every other stat offer. The bulky trait isn't a real obstacle. Unless players are really pushing it few people use or even have any desire to use encumbrance unless the players are really pushing it. The melee dmg boost is very mild and melee doesn't seem practical anyways given that an old farmers shotgun does roughly the same damage as a lightsaber.
Are we missing anything? Are there skills or game mechanics my group is missing. It seems like there's not much reason to put points into STR besides flavor when you could just grab DEX which seems overpowered. Maybe I need to be more creative as a ref or my players need to look more opportunistically for chances to utilize it?
Just curious what the community's general thoughts are on STR and how to make it relevant besides nickel and diming players for every kg. Thanks, happy travels.
