A list of puns related to "Shipmaster"
Shitty thing to do? Or absolutely called for?
I was getting so frustrated. I went to help and we ended up winning.... but at least it got him involved π€£
I know he was in command of an SDV corvette in Operation: FAR STORM, but I'm a bit curious if this was a formal appointment or just a temporary position given to him by the Arbiter for this mission? If it was a formal appointment, I would say that N'tho'Sraom must have done a very good job, as he was only a member of the Special Operations team during the Ark incident in 2553. The fact that the Arbiter did not allow the more experienced Usze 'Taham to lead the ship shows that he trusted N'tho'Sraom's abilities.
Unggoy can now serve as a squad leader in the Arbiter team
But it is not sure if they can be a higher ranking member
Commanding a ship requires a great intelligence.
This is a high level career but does not require strong physical qualities
Reading Ghosts of Onyx, I was impressed by Voro 'Mantakree's command of his cruiser. With the chain of command of all the ships in the region in chaos, he as the newly appointed shipmaster commanded his ship against two ships, and with the energy shields deactivated, he managed to win the game by navigating with agility and cleverly using a larger ship as cover, and flexibly adjusting the energy distribution on ship.
Of all the stories, which Covenant shipmaster/fleetmaster's command did you like best?
I just finished reading this novel in the Evolutions book and everything here makes me think a lot of what could be Mdama background and his path to Halo 4 story
What do you think ? :)
Floki: the name of Elon Muskβs own Shiba Inu
Dogelon Mars icon: a Shiba Inu with Elon Musk hairstyle wearing a suit
Dogelon Mars: a coin focused on bringing humanity to Elon Muskβs βpromise landβ.
Not implying anything just random thoughts from a fellow hodler
The Commander talent let you inspire other character by giving them orders. But how does that work? Simply giving order by clicking top left ? Or something else? And how do I know if itβs working? Cause each time I gave order to others their skills didnβt got any change.
The defense fleet was guarding it so that it didnβt go anywhere. They couldβve sent a warning like βhey that really important thing we were guarding just disappearedβ. Maybe high charity was using precursor space magic to travel faster than the comms, but itβs still something that doesnβt make complete sense.
Let 'Volir had lost his focus in the Great Schism and had chosen to stay under a Fleet Master purely to keep his crew and himself (and the ship) supplied, but there was still some warrior instinct in him that wanted to do something about it, and Atriox got hold of it and invited him. Let 'Volir always said he wanted to take care of the crew, but he could have taken the ship back to his homeland and let the highest bidder take it over and go back to his quiet life (as some shipmaster have done, according to the novel Shadow of Intent). He basically muddled along, convincing himself every time that it was the right thing to do and that there was no better option., he had some conflicting ideas about wanting a quiet life but not wanting to lose his ship, which eventually led him to an ironic result, he lost his ship when he was commanding Huragok and not even spending time with the crew.
His ability to communicate with Huragok ensures that he will continue to have a place in Banished.
But I'm looking forward to the opportunity to use his command skills in the future (to see how he got rid of the others' ships in the first place).Perhaps he has a chance to get out of the banished, make himself stronger, regain command of a ship in what might be a place like the Swords of Sanghelios, and find his honour and not just drift along
edit:
According to some information in the Phoenix logs, Let 'Volir can communicate with Huragok, and I think Banished still needs this skill to analyse the technology on the Ark more effectively.(which is why he wasn't on the ship at the time, and he has stated that he would have preferred to stay on the ship with the crew until the end), but one thing, Atriox sent Let 'Volir and Huragok to check out an ancient ship they had found, so maybe this was a chance for Let 'Volir and his crew to get out of Banished?
While playing Halo 2 I've noticed that the Shipmaster's left jaw doesn't have the little armor pieces and appears to be shorter. What's the reason for this? Is this just a biological issue or a result of him getting wounded in battle?
Anyone know what he is doing and wer he is so I can get up to date
Does anyone else just love teleporting around the map in all three stages of the game? Thereβs nothing more satisfying than teleporting away from an enemy nuke or using tactical gateway behind enemy defenses. Hands down my favorite leader in the game!
Today for discussion weβve got one of the main game Banished, Shipmaster, who commands his elites and ghosts with far more speed and precision, though with a lack of power that choppers and brutes bring to the table.
Letβs discuss where he sits in the meta, his leader powers, how they work together, where his strengths and weaknesses lie, his unique units*, and any changes youβd like to see made to him.
*Elite Grunt Squads and Ghosts will be counted as unique because he is one of the only two leaders to get them, and they have a different playstyle than choppers and brute grunt squads
They ruined shipmaster you canβt move opponents ultra units anymore
Vordious is too weak too with the update before the last as well and yap yaps infantry feel kinda weak now
Context: A massive explosion has wracked the shipyards at the joint muster point for an Ultramarine and Word Bearer crusade. The Word Bearers clearly interpret the disaster as an attack from their hated brothers in the XIIIth legion and respond by opening fire against the Ultramarine fleet.
> Shipmaster Ouon Hommed, captain of the heavy destroyer Sanctity of Saramanth, sees the Infidus begin its merciless prowl along the anchorage line. He understands precisely what the vast Word Bearers barge is doing. Itβs executing the ships in the line beside it the way a man might execute a row of helpless prisoners.
> Heβs done it before himself. At Farnol High Harbour, after the Ephigenia Compliance, he crawled the Sanctity along the slipways, scuttling the captured enemy ships so they could not be reactivated and re-used. It was a graceless, unrewarding task, utterly pragmatic. The ships were too dangerous to leave intact.
> As a shipman, as a person whose life has been dedicated to the service of the great starships, heβs never taken pleasure in scuttling duties.
> Why does it seem like the Infidus is relishing it?
> Hommed is screaming at his command staff, demanding yield of power, weapons, shields, data⦠anything they can give him. The Sanctity was sitting at slip cold, drives tamped down. With the best will in all the worlds, it will take fifty minutes to rouse the ship to operational readiness.
> This is true of the entire fleet. The starships of Ultramar were sitting cold at high anchor for the conjunction. All of their power plants were at lowest yield for the purposes of maintenance, loading and embarkation checks. None of them needed ready drives or weapons or shields. They were all under the protective aegis of the planetβs weapon grid.
> βPower!β [Shipmaster Hommed] yells. βI want power!β
> βYield is rising, sir,β his first officer replies.
> βNothing like fast enough. I need active condition!β
> βThe Drive Room says we canβt hope to raise the yield any faster thanββ
> βTell the bastards in the Drive Room I want power, not excuses!β
> Thereβs no time. The Infidus is coming. Whatever has happened, whatever outrage has occurred, the ships of the XVII clearly believe it to be an attack, and clearly regard the ships of Ultramar as a threat. Theyβre killing everything they can pre-emptively, killing everything beforeβ¦
> Hommed stops. He forces his mind to clear for a second. He realises how
