Sawm Puns

So I've had this on my mind for a while now, And probably should have posted it when people where still theorizing, but whatever.

Anyways, What I noticed is that many of the characters in the dark world Seem to be "mirrors" or "foils" to many of the surface characters. and just so it's clear, I'm going off their personality in Undertale, because we really don't know them in Deltarune. I also don't have foils for everyone/foils unaccounted for. though I chalk that up to how short the game is

King Kard Seems to be the Foil to Asgore. Where Asgore was a kind king who felt he had to do what he did because of what happened to his son, But is visibly sad when he fights you. King Kard, on the other hand, Is a Tyrannical ruler who suffers from abandonment issues and revels in killing you.(also I just learned that he's second in command to some knight, so that may be important)

Interestingly, King Kard also seems to be a foil to Susie. We see that Susie has shut her heart away, presumably because of childhood trauma. King kard, on the other hand, has his heart "because Cracked with Hatred". Heck, King Kard even echos Susie's line of "Quite people Piss me off".

Ralsie may be an echo of Undyne. Both people want the best for their friends, But While Undyne is overly passionate and violent, Ralsie is softer-spoken and would rather avoid fighting.

Kris I'm not sure has an echo or not, Though we also know nothing about Kris, so for all we know Clover could be Kris's echo.

I think Seam may be an echo of Gerson. Both are/were shopkeepers, Gerson's dead, and Seam's well worn, And both served Royalty (Gerson fought in the war, Seam sealed Jevil away). And If you want to go that far, you could argue that they both have a sense of humor (Seam with his sawm puns and Gerson constantly laughing)

And Finally (unless I'm forgetting someone) we have the most important foils

Roulx Kaard seems to be a foil to Papyrus, Both Like puzzles, But while Papyrus just wants a social life, Roulx is looking to bolster his Ego and make people love him.

And Jevil is very clearly an echo of sans. Enough for me to make a proper bullet list

-Both have Meta-level awareness

-While san's awareness drove him into depression and made him lose all motivation, Jevil's awareness made him go mad and start causing a shit ton of Chaos.

-both have 2 unique aspects to their fight that goes beyond attack sprites (sans' Karmic retribution and having the only colored battle sprite after defeat, while

Assalamu Alaikum. Does anyone here reguarly fast on mondays and thursdays? Has it helped you get closer to your deen?

I want to start fasting on these days as I heard it's sunnah but my dad wont allow me to (he is muslim but I have never seen him commit a act of worship in my life). Its important in Islam to listen to parents and be respectful, I know.

I have tried to get my mother to join me and fast mondays and thursdays as well so she can help convince my father but she is breastfeeding right now, I have a 1 year old sister.

Should I pursue my decision and fast those days even though he will be mad because I am not listening to him, or in situations where its hard to follow sunnah, should I just not do it? Thank you ~

Any info? Maybe from the table game that could give us some tips about what thoose mythics will do?

Recently I had a non-Muslim friend question me about what the inherent point of fasting (sawm) is. I understand that it's one of the five pillars of Islam, but I don't understand what the take away is and I want to be able to have a cohesive answer ready. Three of the five pillars are dedicated strictly to worshiping Allah (swt), and zakat Seems to be for the benefit of the community and other people.

How did fasting arise as one of the five pillars? What are the lessons derived from it?

Returning player here. Since my old char got deleted I basically have to start over. I know you need a lv 100 toon to make a sawM but are they still any good? I am doubting between saw/ axe/ spearM as they all look badass.

Which main will be best for pve (and pvp?). I will be playing together with 2 friends but nothing hardcore.

Edit: Would it also be possible to get some formations/ mercs to aim for? Will try to go f2p as much as possible :p

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
