I am truly sorry my window was an obstacle in the amazing journey you were having. My cat and I often watch you flying around in our garden but this morning was different. You probably noticed I have been at home very often because of the pandemic. At least that's what I think... Your specie is always curious and adventurious, right?
I was just about to send an email while sipping tea when I heard a dull sound in the other room. Sadly I knew exactly what that sound was. I rushed outside and started looking near the windows. You were sitting there with your little beak open and I can imagine you had a headache too. When I was a child, my father told me I had to pet your tiny head with my finger and turn off the 'lights' by holding my hand over your eyes, just like we, humans, do when we have migraine. Not sure if you like it; I wish you could warble me words. Your heart was beating so fast but I guess you started trusting me. I blew hot air to keep you warm because it was freezing. Fifteen minutes passed and I noticed you were moving a bit in my hand. Your precious black eyes were staring at me as if you were trying to thank me for my warm hands and the help. Were you ready to go? I opened my hands and held you up just like Rafiki did in the Lion King movie. You flew away, free as a bird.
