A list of puns related to "Recovery Model"
Hi, all. I have an iPod classic 7th-gen model that is stuck in recovery mode.
On my primary PC, I get a 1429 error. On one of my laptops, I get a 1413 error code. What's going on? I hope I can get it back to work. X(
Hello,
As the title states I recently booted up my Chromebook and it would not make it past the start up. Naturally I did some research, I ended going into recovery mode where it says: "Chrome OS is missing or damaged".
I followed Google's steps and used the Google recovery extension, from there I put in my model and it gave me the OS on my 8gb lexar usb.
I put my memory stick in, it verified the recovery media. System recovery was in progress but then it stated: "an unexpected error has occurred etc."
From there I did more research and saw things that Google may be serving up faulty recovery OS's and went to this site: https://cros-updates-serving.appspot.com/ and downloaded os #93 and #85. Both attempts were unsuccessful and led to the same error message
I made sure to erase the recovery data each attempt using the recovery tool provided by Google and both #93 and #85 were applied to the usb using the "local something" button in the tool. Unpacked, written etc.
Anyway. Does anybody know what my next options are to possibly saving this Chromebook? I was hoping to give it to my girlfriend as she needs something like this for school.
My rocket is light weight and is going to run on a B motor. But recently, I found out it doesn't come with ejection charge. So I'm looking for recovery methods that don't require ejection charge.
I bought it as used from second hand. Not gonna lie, the laptop is pretty smooth, but I can't connect the wireless keyboard and the internet connection is slow. I noticed, that lots of Vaio assets and programs are missing. Then I realized I made a clean install of Windows 10, but the user before probably formated the recovery partition. So I wouldn't help myself even if I could revert a time... So, does anybody have it?

I havenβt been at this very long but over time but there are some growing concerns I feel as a spouse of a PA/SA in recovery. Things that I cannot quite put my finger on but a sense of things not sitting right with me.
I am still trying to formulate my thoughts around all of this and would welcome your input. This is, by no means, a hard opinion I have but rather an exploration and trying to put into words what I am experiencing.
Issue One: 12 Step Programming built for partners is woefully inadequate for the task at hand
Both S-Anon and isa.org and Cosa follow that 12-step model for family members and it feels like it is sloppily rehashed from what was created for addicts in ways that can be actively harmful. AA was from alcoholics, then Al-Anon came from the wife of the alcoholic but it follows the 12-step model wherein the spouse is a co-dependent.
The 12 Step model, I think, actively reinforces harm.
Examples:
The group structure is not built for trauma/abused people in mind. The last thing a person in trauma needs to be in is a group step model that allows no crosstalk. What the traumatized NEED to do is talk a lot, and also chime in to support the others in the group (like we do here in this subreddit).
Steps which include powerlessness as a line item, surrender, and fearless and moral inventories and making amends is, yet again, totally off-base for a betrayed partner. How about learning how to down-regulate, meaningful trainings on strengthening that gut instinct, and group support and community, instead?
Why would an addiction recovery-based model ever be thought of as an adequate model for the partners? A rehashed one, at that?
A betrayed partner has already been shunted to the side and largely been treated like crap. Why would a program that was not uniquely designed for them not be on offer from the get go?
There are some deeply wounding endemic knee-jerk assumptions hard-baked into these models which leads me to:
Issue Two: Co-dependent/ Co-Addict models reinforce partner trauma
For years canon was the Carnesβ co-addict model but it is deeply, deeply flawed. Taken from Vicky Tidwell Palmerβs site:
*. . . someone who is in a significant relationship with a sex addict and demonstrates a common set of behavioral characteristics including: denial, preoccupation, enabling, rescuing, taking exces

I'm constantly looking at new approaches to help those with substance abuse issues and this book was SURPRISING rated highly on every site I looked for reviews. Moreever, as I understand it, there are additionally many prominent professionals from the mental health community (not all not even a majority), that are praising this concepts presented in this book.
I'm only on the 2nd or is it the 3rd chapter, and find it fascinating if nothing else. I am anxious to hear from anyone who has read the book, or knows a lot about it in hopes of gaining their opinions on it.
The book can be purchased on Amazon and on their page you can view the books reviews. I used 10 different websites to conclude that it at least appears to being helping many. Any related posts to this are also more than welcome. Thank you and God bless us all.
I'm curious about what the different button combinations are for the V50 models as there seems to be some variety.
For example, for my Sprint V50, with the phone powered off, I have to hold down volume-up + power, and when the logo shows up, briefly release the power button while still holding volume-up and then hold down power again alongside holding volume-up until the factory reset screen shows up.
By contrast, for the Verizon V50, it seems to be just holding volume-down + power until the recovery screen shows up, according to Verizon's instructions.
And based on this XDA forum thread, the button combination is disabled for some models and requires some modification to be restored.
As a preface, my account has not been lost, this is a preemptive question. I have every DID number that I've used for summoners war except for one. For that one, I only know the model that the phone was. If I ever needed to recover my account, would it be game over, or would they accept a model for the oldest device?
For those of you who have gone through the recovery process without every DID, did you succeed?
I am wondering if anyone has read the book The Freedom Model? And if so, what they thought of it, negative or positive? The ppl.behind the book also offer a podcast called "The Addiction Solution" and hold retreats. The book makes very BOLD statements payouts addiction and any comments would be very much appreciated. Thank you kindly.
hello I just updated my trezor but during the update I had a power outage and the update failed.
I had to recover my wallet using the touchpad of the device.
Is my security compromised or am i still "safe" and was the recovery only done locally on the device even though it was plugged in the pc?
thanks!
