Basically, I grew up on grocery store/those super-sized Costco birthday cakes and now that I’m a “real“ adult with a bit of money and no need to feed 25 hungry teenagers, I am ready to splurge a bit on a nicer cake for my BDay.

I would like to get into making patisserie but all the courses in my country (UK) are SO expensive. I looked into the cordon bleu courses but they start at £18k and as a 22 year old fresh out of uni, I can’t afford that. Can anyone recommend any books or YouTube channels on where I can start out please. I’ve bought the ferrandi book and it’s amazing. I’m a seasoned cook and am good at baking, so I wouldn’t be at beginner level.
