In Pakistan they say blasphemy but in Punjab they say sacrilege.
I need help with this. Any advice will be appreciated. π
Im in the US currently. I am 27 years old. White American. Independent. My gf is 19 in pakistan. They are muslim. I am not. They are very strict according to her. They tell her veey harmful things to manipulate her. Like "youre characterless". "Youre a slut." She was even sexually assaulted once by her father. We used to talk nonstop basically when she lived with her adoptive parents. But they divorced and now she is with her biological parents. From my end, i can tell they are very toxic for her. They hardly allow any social media at all. Call her worthless names. Etc. Supposedly believe in honor killings, but havent fully confirmed this. So helping her escape will be rather difficult, dangerous, and perhaps impossible. Im going to formulate a good plan to get her out. She almost has stockholm syndrome in a way, constantly confused, afraid to trust. This is likely due to her highly manipulative parents. Ive spent 2 years with her. I think they are toxic people.
My plan is to get a visa, perhaps a work visa, and stay there until we get her a passport and visa. She may be able to move in with me but im not sure how unless she just... jumps. Which is scary for her, but shes determined to do it. They arent good for her anyways. Even if the realtionship was to fail, she doesnt have any freedom really. So i think my actions are justified either way. However the issue is the danger to her and to myself.
Financially speaking i make about $600 a week. Have 200 saved for the trip. I want to save up 3000. Just a lot extra.
Update: ive decided not to travel there myself, but to encourage and assist her in breaking free from the country. Atm we are thinking her schooling is the best option. She is currently at Uni for a year or two. Then she will try to study in literally any other country. Then thats where we will meet. We will have options then.
