A list of puns related to "Pleasant Island"
Hi there fellow survivors,
Today Iβm back with my meteorological themed series, this time from the famous (un)Pleasant Valley! Many of you requested this region, and warned me for high winds, frequent blizzards, very cold tempsβ¦and you were right. So far this is the coldest region Iβve been to and with a great margin as you can see. Due to blizzards I couldnβt reach the Farmstead on the first day, so I seeked shelter at the Community Hall. The next day I climbed up to Signal Hill (for some loot) and got βsurprisedβ by a blizzard, almost fading into the long dark. From day 3 I was at the Farm and made my observations for another 30 days.
Location of the observations: Pleasant Valley Farmstead, PV (+Thomsonβs Crossing / Signal Hill for 1 day each)

The morning temperatures were absolutely brutal, ranging from -25 Β°C on a lucky day to -40 Β°C during blizzards, averaging at almost -33 Β°C (for comparison DP and CH had around -24 Β°C in the morning). The maximum temps ranged between -15Β°C and -20 Β°C, on colder days and during blizzards it didnβt reach even the -20 Β°C mark. The deviation of the temperatures was relatively high, which means a more continental climate, further inland (just like ingame, so itβs realistic). For real-life references I looked up some cities in Yukon (Mayo, Old Crow) which could represent Pleasant Valley temperature-wise. The extreme cold temps are also common in deep valleys (like Yukonβs) encircled by tall mountains (like ingame).
The most common weather type was clear skies interestingly, with snowing in 2nd place. There were 20 blizzards during my 30 days in PV, some lasted more than half of the day. Foggy weather was not so frequent, compared to the coastal areas. The balance of clear skies and blizzards is a good choice in my opinion by the devs for this region, it adds to the challenge (and also it could be realistic, even though winter is usually humid in these regions).

Seems as if renting a 1, 2, or 3br house is a very difficult feat to accomplish. Are apartments, condos, or townhomes much more easy to come by? I'm planning on buying in the near future, but would prefer to rent out of the gate.
Seems like it's a tough shell to crack...
Also, while I'm at it, if anyone has any recommendations on property rental companies or best places to look for 1, 2, or 3br's, it would be greatly appreciated.
