A list of puns related to "Piat"
I was wondering which of the 3 gadgets is the best at destroying halftracks/ tanks. I feel like the Panzerfaust and PIAT are more powerful but lack a little range. Iβm no expert though.
It says to press up on D-Pad, but it doesn't change. How do I change the range setting?
Title...
Now for those unaware the PIAT was a spring action anti tank weapon used by Britain so the question is, is the PIAT in the entente for third international hands?
I think the dominion of Canada would develop it as the UOB would see Germany as relaying on infantry more than armor so it wouldnβt need to develop anti tank weapons
its been a while now with all these new weapons.
i can surely confirm that ignifist and banes are too OP due their range.
colonials have stickies as well jsut like we do, but we don't have a valid alternative like ignifist.
NO, anti tank rifle isnt, its pretty garbage atm.
about banes, well, their range is extremly better than our handly-bonsaw and tanks never get too clos for the bonesaw.
I don't really know the difference between each one. The only thing I know, is that you can use PIAT as a mortar. Thanks.
50 meters and less: Tank length sticks out on both sides of the sight.
80 meters: Tank length is about the length of the sight.
110 meters: Tank length just about fits inside the sight aperture.

I just watched Ian's excellent video on the PIAT, and it awoke a distant memory from my childhood.
My Grandad served in the Suffolk Regiment in WWII, and while he never fired the PIAT in anger, he did train with it.
He didn't have a very high opinion of it, to put it mildly. He told me about an incident that happened during training, where a guy was messing around with a PIAT, and ended up with a hole in his stomach.
I was only about 6 or 7 when he told me this story, and my Gran frantically ran into the room and told him to stop before he got to the good part. I got the impression that the guy died of his injuries.
Trying to piece together the story, I looked at how the PIAT operated. I remember my Grandad saying that the guy was pushing against the pressure of the spring and slipped, which is what caused the accident.
It is my guess that he was using an inert training bomb, and, being young and foolish, he was probably seeing if he was strong enough to push the bomb into the PIAT against the force of the spring.
Would the spring have had enough force to cause a serious injury this way? The bombs certainly look quite pointy.
I feel like i get killed in a tank more often with a panzerfaust more often than with the PIAT. Since the PIAT is supposed to be anti-infantry as well as anti-tank, its damage should be worse right? I know that you can actually like, arc your shots with the PIAT's funky minimap feature that lets you see where the shot's gonna hit, but I really want to get better with the Panzerfaust since it seems like a better option for my anti-tank assault class.
Did infantry companies have dedicated anti tank personnel outside of the core combat platoons? Did platoon commanders get them and then just choose which section got them?
I'm mostly curious if in actual combat situations there were separate anti tank teams or did some infantry sections have the weapon to use as needed.
