Should I remove the largest pitcher when showing necrotic damage? The lid has rotted away and the peristome has turned black. If I remove this pitcher will the plant put more energy into forming it's newer pitchers? Or am I taking energy away by removing the pitcher? Nepenthes x St. Gaya

Rescued 'Alata' and this is the first pitcher after resuccitation. Pitchers are so red and the peristome very Green. Different plant or am I just doing a fantastic job. π€
